This should give you all the known info on Amps absence and his work http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1175181-ampolx%c2%b4s-great-textures/page__view__findpost__p__17357208 :)

The short story is several people in the modding community ended up going behind AmpolX's back. This caused him to feel quite insulted, and as a result, he has permanently discontinued any work he would consider doing on the textures.

http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1177421-my-work/ where he responded to the "controversy" and I think it was actually kind of left up in the air, but at this point you can assume the textures will never be made available. And if you read the thread you'll see the whole thing baffled me and I ultimate contributed to the thread being closed (not my finest hour). :teehee:

I just want everyone to be happy and see the positive side of things instead of the negative :<

I recall I was a bit on the "pushy" side of the aisle in the topic ampolx is referring to. I have to agree with palidoo on this one though. We were all simply enthousiastic about wantng to use ampols mods. Doesn't seem like much of a crime to me. Granted some comments were in bad taste. I think at the end of the day its best to just let modders have there space. Since im not a modder in the sense of creating game content, I suppose I don't truly understand what it feels like when people discuss distributing work without permission. However I think palidoo's point holds firm.

Sorry but we don't allow locked threads to be restarted.
