Amulet of MarkAmulet of Recall

So,
I used the amulet of mark to mark a location at Caldera.
travelled to Balmora, used the amulet of recall.

Nothing happened.

Am I missing something here...?

Seems like you made a mistake.... We can't know for sure until you do some trial and error.

- Are you 100% sure you used the Mark amulet first?
- Does this happen every time you use the amulets? (basing it on one test is not very productive)
- did you Mark, then die without saving, then continue on without Marking again? (thus making Recall not function)

Thanks for getting back!

Well it's the second time I used it.
The first time was a test. I put the mark just outside Caldera. Then I walked up the road aways and then used recall. Job done, happy times.

The second time - the one I mentioned in the first post - was from Caldera. It was using the same mark as before, however. I had travelled to Balmora via Guild Guide.
When it didn't work I "guilded" back to Caldera and checked the map and the white cross was still there on the map.
I'm wondering if maybe it needs to be refreshed after being used once or something...?

I'm more than inclined to believe I made a mistake in how I used it, I just can't think it was...
...I'm at work now anyway (lol) so i can't try it again till this evening...

You should only need to set the mark once, and recall there to your heart's content. The best thing to do is keep trying it out when you play again. It's probably just one of those random quirks that pop up from time to time.

Yeah I'll give it a go again later, like I say there didn't seem to be any obvious reason why it didn't work and there were no status messages so...

Ah yes, those amulets... I remember finding the Mark version and then wondering if there was a recall. Eventually I found it, but then I realised I'd dropped the Amulet of Mark (damn Bonewalkers) :P

You must have had it really bad against those bonewalkers if you had to start dropping amulets, lol

Also make sure the spells are correct. I made one once that was cast on self and cast on other. so It didn't do anything at all.
