Amulets, Rings, Gauntlets, Bracelets, etc...

Good Morning Kids,

I was wondering if there has been any further information released regarding how many slots our bodies will have to use multiple items? (sorry too lazy to troll the fourms)

For instance - will we be able to have more than one ring on each finger or different gauntlets on either arm.

Let me know!

Well I know there's been no full word on how many slots we'll have, but we are fairly sure Pauldrons have returned.

i liked the morrowind style slots in this manner, but i thought having 10 slots for rings (1 for each finger) would've been pretty funny :) (overpowered to have 10 enchanted rings, thats why we'd do it!)

Right now, there's been no clear word on the subject, so we can only really speculate, and really, nothing short of official conformation or seeing a screenshot of the inventory screen displaying all items a character has equipped will tell us anything for certain on the matter. Though I'm guessing that for rings, one can still wear one on each hand and one amulet as that's a rule that pretty much every RPG that lets you wear such items adheres to, in fact, I don't think I've seen any game where I could wear more than two rings by default, and I doubt Skyrim will break from this tradition. The real question is how many armor slots there will be, I think we can safely assume it's not going to be like Fallout 3 and New Vegas where it's just full suits and helmets, at least, but still, it's hard to say what it will be like. Maybe they'll stick to Oblivion's setup, or maybe they'll go back to how Morrowind did it, maybe they'll go for something in between (Say, having pauldrons seperate from the cuirass but not eperating them or gauntlets into left and right slots.) or maybe they'll go even further, but the last one, I think, is doubtful.

I think I read somewhere that they made a lore reason for this, that if they had enchanted rings too close together, the enchantment fields or whatever would screw each other up. Though it's possible that was just someone trying to make a reason it works that way in the game.

As far as the question in the OP: there hasn't really been any information released concerning jewelry/ accessories in the game. I imagine it will be just like OB, where you can do 2 rings and an amulet. (I think that was it?)

On top of that, I would really like to see the addition of ear-rings and a belt.

I am hoping some perks in enchant and the magic schools allow one to wear more enchanted items. Also id like it if not wearing armor allowed one to wear more rings amulets and odd magic thingies. Something like if you wear 2 rings on each hand you cant swap in a shield or sword if you dont wear a helm you can wear a circlet... so on and so forth.

Well, look no further than the background image. It certainly looks like pauldrons are in, and for seperate sides no less! As for rings and jewellery, I like it the way it is, one necklace/amulet and 2 rings. As long as they make the Amulets visible through the armour and clothes this time, it's alllgooood!
