Ancestor Ghost Problem

When I cast Summon Ancestral Ghost, I get this (see spell effects at bottom), no ghost. ?????

Might be a stupid question, but are you sure you're casting Summon Ancestral Ghost and not Ancestor Guardian? If you're actually casting the latter, one of your Balance mods might change its spell effect from Sanctuary 50% to all that other stuff.

Summon Ancestral Ghost. Sorry if I wasn't clear.

I don't think Wakim's balance mods make this change. I could be wrong, though. Still investigating....

One more update.. This effect comes and goes... Can't figure out the trigger ...but I will... :brokencomputer:

Could you put up a larger screenshot? It's very hard to make out the effects in that image.

Hope this is a clearer image of the problem. The hard part is that it happens inconsistently. Can't track down the common factor.

Have you tried turning off "Oblivion-Style Spellcasting.esp" and casting the spell the old fashioned way?

Yup. That was it. Now, to to debug those scripts..... Seems to isolated to Conjuration type spells. One I have fixed it, I will report back.

HEEELP !!! in the illuminated mod in morrowind i got stuck in the 2nd mission...i need to capture a ancesteral gost and i did it an now i cant get in the Denmevanni Manor in Balmora..i try to open the doors and i cant ..it writes like ˝the doors refuse to yield to you˝ ??? can somebody help me
