Ancient Light Armor.....Robes?

Post » Fri Jan 03, 2014 3:21 pm

So, in the Dark Brotherhood, you get an upgrade to your Light Armor, if you listen to the words of lady Olav. So you get a nice set of Light Armor, but what about robes?

Daeo is a spell assassin, and I have him using the Shrouded Robes. Why can I not find any pieces or more Shrouded robes?

^Just a question [and none of the other robes I have seen look nearly as stealthy and I like the hand wraps, the shrouded hand wraps, why didn't they make a generic set of shrouded hand wraps too?]

There is only ever one full set in the ENTIRE game, why? probably because they did not expect assassins to wear robes most of the time, they probably expected them to wear the shrouded light armor instead.

So basically punish stealth caster.

I often tend to play magical characters and the lack of special robes bothers me.

I know of three, the Cultist robes, and the Arch Mage robes and the Vampire Robes.

The problem with the Vampire Robes is they are just basically Tunics reskinned and named Vampire Robes. The Cultist robes are not nearly stealthy looking for my taste. And with this character I will not be joining the college for reasons.

The lack of any cool looking robes is rather....disappointing.

It is likely they are expecting you to enchant your own. TES has never really had that many special robes, really, even in Morrowind and Oblivion.

Well I ask for special cool looking robes. And I like the ones with pants, thank you very much. I don't like the traditional robes.

I also want a special set of stealth robes, errkay. Cause the Shrouded ones are cool, but I'd like a cool set of you're a Listener Robes.

Even then, all the robes for Novice-Apprentice look virtually the same. And they are to magey for the character too.

well, yeah, that was the point. I do not think they expected people to use robes and NOT want magey looking robes, cause you know, magey. and once again, it was never really a TES thing anyway, The robes of the black hand (robes used by the leading members of the DB) in Oblivion were literally just a set of black robes with the red hand slapped on it.

Not entirely sure what you are trying to say,...

Daeo, are you on PC? or on console? there are plenty of armor/robes mods that could perfectly for your twisted, insane character.

My computer is so old that it would have never handled Skyrim and the mods.
