Ancient Nord Arrows and My Face!

Post » Tue Dec 06, 2011 8:30 pm

I've just competed a quest for the College of Winterhold and I now have two arrows stuck in my head permanently. No matter how many times I load, no matter what I do or where I go they stay there.

It's obviously a glitch of some sort, has anyone else encountered it/know of a fix?

Thanks in advance,

George

Get shot by another arrow. They should fade along with the new ones.

If you're using arrows unequip them store them in any container then take them out again.

Worked for me

I'm not using arrows. But I'll head off and try and get myself shot.

I'll keep you updated!

Had that happen to me once. It went away though, perhaps sleep or unequip arrows?

When ever I have them stuck in me they appear in my inventory I simply drop them and it fixes it.

Well I do enjoy the fact arrows remain in your body after an epic battle (looks BA), I do wish at some point it was easy to take them out. IN my experience they just seem to diappear after a certain time, but I couldn't tell you at what time or what I did (wait/sleep/get shot again/etc.) to make it happen.

EDIT: In fact, I had a similar experience with the Ancient Nordic Arrows. I only used Iron at that point and no Ancient ones showed up in the inventory

I've tried somethings out. Even though I had no arrows in my inventory I went back to my house, got all my arrows out of chest, (the wooden one, not MY chest), and then simply put them all back. I went into third person and they were gone. Thanks for all the help guys - you truly are a fantastic community!
