For those that said they would have pirated this game, maybe this would convince you otherwise? Maybe at least dissuading you from telling everyone on the gamesas forums.
imo, so long as they amend their mistakes in an expeditious manner, I would be more then willing to forget this whole thing ever happened. However, if it just turns out to be a false lead, and Crysis didn't nip it in the bud as soon as it was mentioned here, I don't know if my poor heart could take it. 5 days in is pretty quick for an update like this I think, and I do believe that our criticisms, harsh as they may be, did influence them, of course that's just wishful thinking.
And for all those self righteous morons, constantly saying things like: "CRYSIS 2 IS SO AMAZING!!! STOP WHINING ABOUT THE BROKEN MP AND BAD TEXTURES AND NO DX11!!!" and "CRYTEK, YOU STILL HAVE FANS!!! (Because TRUE funs sit there showering meaningless praise upon whatever the Devs output... yeah right.)" Firstly, stop. Secondly, pick up a copy of Crysis and Crysis Warhead here:

http://www.amazon.com/Crysis-Warhead-Pc/dp/B001ATHKVC/ref=sr_1_4?s=videogames&ie=UTF8&qid=1301249251&sr=1-4
Play and beat them on the highest graphical settings then reconsider what a real Crysis fan is. Saying absolutely nothing is far worse then harshly criticizing because saying nothing results in nothing.
Because saying things like:
Crysis 2 looks amazing! I dont want DX11.
Really get's us all nowhere.
Of course, repeating the same criticisms while calling Crytek sellouts is just as nonconstructive as raining unrealistically high praise upon Crytek. The suggestions could have been managed in a more professional manner, yes, but getting really really peeved just means were stronger fans, right? I mean, the stronger you feel about something the higher your expectations are and the more vocal you're willing to be on an internet forum.
Anyway share your thoughts.
