4.2.2 and 4.4.2 android

Post » Mon Feb 15, 2016 7:31 am

The minimum requirement for fallout shelter is 4.1.1 on android, I run 4.2.2 and when I attempt to download it it says it's not compatable with my device, it says the same with my grilfriends tablet which Is less than a year old and is running 4.4.2, neither of us are able to download the game. Any suggestions or solutions would be greatly appreciated.

To be fair, given how unstable it was on the iPhone 4S with 512MB Ram, you'd be up against it to run it on anything but a decent 18-24month old Device, it's been reported to crash even on iPhone5s because it uses up so much RAM. Luckily, not a hint of an issue on my Samsung S6, but its got loads of RAM, which no doubt helps.

Fallout shelter runs smooth on my wife's & mine (I bought us two of same model) el'cheapo straight-talk phones, here are the specs, I think I paid less than $150.00 for both phones ($70'ish each) + of course another $45.00 each for the 30 day unlimited text, talk & data activation on each, I literally have zero complaints, but then again there is no 4g service within an hour of here so 3g is the vast I could get even if the phones were 4g capable ....

Its not an issue with the device, my grilfriends sister has the same device and it runs fallout shelter smoothly the only difference is that she's running 4.1.2 on her device

Seriously? What model number is the one that works? If you go into Settings and About Device, there should be a model number. My Tab 2 is a GT-P3113, and FOS won't even install.

Right, but it's mostly happening with Galaxy Tabs. It makes me think that there is something going on with these specific models. So if your sister has a Tab 2 GT-P3113 running 4.1.2 and the game works, wile we both have Tab 2 GT-P3113s with 4.2.2 and the game doesn't work, then maybe there's a driver or app that Samsung borked up with the 4.2.2 update. That's the reason I was interested in your device models.
