they are charging extra money if you purchase a used game.
I don't have console so this won't affect me in any way but I find the principle unpalatable. Please explain to me how this works, it seems to be like saying you can't resell a book. This idea that "we peasants" are not allowed to trade among themselves and must only buy from large organizations disgusts me.
It's like piracy in reverse!
Surely EA are not even involved in the transaction? but then again I guess thats why they are trying to impose a fee.
what it is is if you purchase an EA title new and you trade it back (making it used). then when the next person purchases this game (used) if he/she wants to play online EA will charge and extra $10 so you can get a code to play the game online. This code was not needed if you purchased it new.
Okay I see how they can get away with that. It's also not quite as bad as I thought. But is that on EA servers or P2P?
