Lydia will now use bows that I give her but other than that she seems to be making some dubious choices.
If given an unimproved ebony dagger and a an epic Nordic sword she will use the dagger not the sword. If given a staff as well as a sword she will take out the staff rather than the sword but wont use the staff. She just runs up to an enemy and starts repeatedly bashing them with a shield while not even attempting top use the staff she is holding.

Don't get me wrong I'm very pleased with the bug fixes and legendary difficulty but why do they find it so hard to fix followers ?.
