I can only talk from personal experience, I never touched any kind of construction set (GECK) before FO3. I started here http://geck.gamesas.com/index.php/Main_Page with the "My first Vault tutorials" they are VERY helpful for the new guy/gal.....so I guess I'm saying start there and spread your wings, and always remember there are GREAT peeps here to help you along the way.

Good luck

I did the same as Bigcrazewold,

run through the tutorials, start to play. Have fun, which is the most important thing. Then, when you need a little help, feel free to ask! This community is wonderful, helpful and, don't mind going out of there way if your respectful.

good luck

Basically, open it up and start messing around. You'll find something that looks interesting. Experiment with it. Repeat. Treat it like lego for advlts- more powerful, more possibilities, more complicated and sometimes more frustrating (just like pretty much everything, really).

I actually agree with talkitoaster. Just by messing around you'll self teach yourself so it might stick in a bit better. It all depends on what you intend to do though, if you want to make new buildings and stuff, you'll need tutorials since it'd be really complicated. But if you just want to muck about then you won't need tutorials. If you make anyover-powered weapons, it's probably best not to upload it since there's enough people who make minigun nukers. And it's pointless

I'm going to have to disagree with you,

If Myself_1 wants to build a 10mm pistol that shoots mini nukes or, 40mm grenades he/she should feel free to upload. A little positive feedback from likeminded people goes a long way to help you continue to mod.

If He/She was a Vet. I would be standing next to you, making fun of them for doing such things but, (for sake of argument) He has already said he is new to the GECK, why shun him? He just wants to get started, to learn something new!

You shouldn't tell him not to upload, If he thinks it's good then so be it.

So, in my opinion (Myself_1) upload away, If people don't agree or, want your efforts they simply wont download. The others that do will!

As I've said before, just have some fun.

Edit, If I went with your thought process, I would have never uploaded "DCInteriors". Just look how that turned out. :twirl:

Hi

As for the richer traders, you may have not installed it right....I'm not trying to be a jerk. The file does have all options four in all and you will need to pick one of the .esp's and install just that one not all of them, I'm sure that's something that will make the mod not work properly.

I have installed the Rich Trader Mod and Casinos Mod.
I think the Casinos Mod give ONLY the Casinos more Caps.

And Trader for Carawan and other little Traders.

but can someone tell me where i can find in GECK the settings for Money?
or do I have all the Traders separately assign?
I want to create my own "Rich Traders & Casinos Mod"

Each trader has a container specific to them that holds there ware's, I think you can add to it or create a new container for that trader.

@bigcrazewolf

Yeah it works. THX

@All Members
and i have another question.... but not about GECK.
Someone use FNVEdit ?

My Problem is..... I want to edit FalloutNV.esm and FOOK - New Vegas.esm
How can i change the order of plugins/mods in FNVEdit?

In the list, FOOK is the first file and the program says that I should first load the FalloutNV.esm before it can load FOOK.

My Plugins.txt is modified to this:
FalloutNV.esm
FOOK - New Vegas.esm
......

but FNVEdit order is:
Caravan-Pack.esm
FOOK - New Vegas.esm
FalloutNV.esm
.....
