1h and shield vs 2h vs dual wield : V

Because I plan to be a pure orc warrior, 2h seems much more suitable as it will have longer reach and do much more damage. I cannot honestly see the benefits of dual wielding.

I like using a shield, since it feels like it grants me more protection than trying to absorb all of my enemies' blows with a thin piece of metal

So since this will dissolve into another dual wielding thread, i'll leave this here...

You can swing with both weapons at the same time. Confirmed in the new PC Gamer magazine. Add that to the fact that you can have 2 enchantments on each weapon, for a total of 4 enchants, it blows my mind that anyone couldn't see the huge benefit of dual wielding.

i have always been in love with the idea of shield bashing but now that you can in an eleder scrolls game. now way in heck i am going to turn this down.

on my very first character i will almost exclusivly use range, btu if they get close i will use a single sword, no shield

on my first melee character i will use dual wielding

i like sword and shield more than any other combat style (even magic and stealth) but i plan i doing it on like my 5th character lol
i wana do stealth first, then 2H tank, then mage, then sword and shield. but i might do a mage/bow/dual/enchatner for all i know hen i actualy play the game

Couldn't care less. Don't need to. Not when i'm slaughtering enemies with double enchanted weapons at the same time. Awesome.
