So in the E3 gameplay walkthrough of Skyrim, Todd Howard mentions that "ancient Nords used to worship dragons."

Did they? I thought they worshipped the Eight Divines, and Lorkhan... Noticed the little lore snippet and wondered why there wasn't a thread about it! Maybe I'm completely mistaken, and haven't read about all the dragon gods the ancient Nords have.
