And then Someone asks again, Non Stop Battle Music

Dear friends...

I hope I'll use the right english translations for skyrim names, im playing it in another language.

Battle Sound won't stop playing. Its looping all the time.

I don't know where the bug started. Was it as I killed all the Stormcloak camps after completing the imperial quest? Was it just a normal battle as I was searching for treasures with treasuremaps after I killed the Stormcloaks in the camps? Was it as I entered random dungeons in Winterhold region...Was it as a Icebear attacked me? I dont know. But sure is: Im very patiently, so I waited long time until I decided the battle sound starts getting annoying...

One Solution would work: Reload one of my permanent saves, but that would throw me back ages, several weeks. So its absolutely no option. Not in this life and not in the next.

Im using the official and unofficial patches for skyrim, hearthfire, dawnguard

So far I remember:

What Ive tried:

- Close Game

- reenter doors to get auto save as newest save, and let me kill from somebody.

- go to jail

- find new hostile creature or dragons

- waited 24hours

- start complete new game and reload bugged save

- one suggestion was change language in Skyrim.ini from English to the language you play. But Ive done this already long time ago for a mod. So I didnt need to do/try it.

commands:

- player.kill

- kill

- killall

- stopcombat

- removemusic muscombat

- removemusic MUScombatcivilwar

- player.StopCombat

- player.SCAOnActor

That are solution trys Ive found in several Threads and that makes me wonder, how Bethesda still cant fix a GameBreaking bug after many years. Bethesda.... plea? Are you serious?

My only hope lasts now on you, please help me. Maybe the time showed up another solution.

Would be great~

thanks ahead

Kitteh...*sigh*

Are you using mods?

What happens when you start a new game then load your save?

Also you might try the .bak save if it isn't too far back. Look in your save folder. The .bak with be tac'ed onto the autosave or the quicksave.

Try the quicksave. Backup the save folder first. Then either move or delete the quicksave.ess and rename the other quicksave by removing the .bak portion.

saves are located here: C:\..........\Documents\My Games\Skyrim

Jasper I believe he is using mods since he stated he did not have to change the language since he uses a mod that needed to do it.

But it would help us to know what mods the OP is using and the load order.

When you started a new game was the sound normal.

Have tried an older save before you had the combat sound on all the time?

If not it might be that the combat sound might be baked in the game save.

Wyre Bash could possibly look at your game save and see if it might be missing something. But make a backup before doing anything to the game saves. I believe there are some game save cleaners out there as well but again make a backup.

Rule number in TES or Bethesda games is to make a lot of game saves and if possible do not overwrite them. When you have 20 or more move the oldest ones to another location since you do not want to have too many game saves in the main save location since it will slowdown access to the saving option. Also it is best to disable the auto saves features in these games

Extract the file in (\Games\Steam\SteamApps\Common\Skyrim\Data).

Activate the mod through your preferred launcher by ticking the checkbox.

You may also want to check out http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/28511/?. Probably won't help with your problem at the moment, but it may help in the future when the combat music begins and you begin searching for that evil draugr deathlord who you're sure is stalking you, only to discover is just a mudcrab. Happened to me many times until I downloaded this mod, now the combat music makes sense.
