when I go to save, win7 says that the cs has stopped responding and auto closes, how do I prevent this since the cs is a slowpoke and win7 is impatient?

nope, none of that applies, already knew to not do those things.

and I never install into program files.

I'm having the same problem. I can't really change anything without it closing on me. I remember all I tried to do was change a hairstyle on a companion and it closed on me.
