So I had the CK running perfectly in Windows 7, no crashing, no problems of any sort. I got a new laptop recently that has Windows 8.1 on it, and I just got back to some things I'd been working on in the CK, only to find that it's crashing every 5-20 minutes. Considering how long it takes to open my projects and load everything again, not to mention the disruption to my work groove, this is a major pain. I can't really find anything on the internet about the CK specifically with Windows 8.1, so I was wondering if anyone here had any pointers for getting it to work better.

Are you sure the problem doesn't come from your new laptop? Is it powerful enough to stand the ck?
