Graphics are really only bad on the console.

On the PC you can scale it above and beyond what the original game came with thanks to mods.

And compared to what a high-end PC can do, it looks bad.

Then there's times that textures fail to load properly based on LOD.

I don't know if this is exclusive to PC or not.

All you have to do is look at videos on youtube of graphics mods.

*giggle* You think you've seen bad? You've seen nothing compared to this! http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=Yeyzi8e6-yw
(Although I actually kind of like those bad graphics. Scary, isn't it?) http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1288676-semi-cell-shaded-skyrim-graphics/

Graphics changing mods tend to take away from the game in my opinion and are incredibly rude and obnoxious. When you start patching bits of the game up with different visual mods, you'll have some parts unpatched, everything looks different like 15 games in one. Like a hole in a boat, it sinks. Then the visuals look more out of place, adding anime and beautiful rainbows and flowing waterfalls of hope into games like this is just silly. Also cut the crap about PS3 graphics been bad, the images on my television look fantastic.

Well, Skyrim has a mixture of quality textures and bad textures. Without a doubt the artists at Beth had a texture budget forced upon them. They couln't do all the textures 4096x4096 like us pc players would like to have.

Your opinion.

The *RIGHT* graphics mods don't change the core of the game. They keep it intact and improve on it by increasing textures and adding new features, or just make it better period by increasing the LOD like in Oblivion.

the game looks great on all platforms
sure on the pc you might get some higher resolutions or antropomorphic filters and what have you that you don't have on consoles
but pretending like the game looks [censored] on any platform only makes you look like a really devoted fan [censored]

there's a difference but it's not that big
only graphic [censored]s would care about such a thing

edit: lol at devoted fan XD
that was not what i typed

i think you'll know what I mean

yeah dont bash their mods. they tend to be rather proud of the fact.

even though i own both a pc and ps3 copy. i never found any good mods for oblivion, even the awesome graphics changing mods had their bugs and flaws. but i do love ps3 play much more.

No i haven't that's why i said that. Leave the graphics as they are, there is no way in improving them on whole. Without suffering from said mod failing in little aspects, and making the game look like a children's coloring book. The graphics in Skyrim on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 are fantastic and the theme is spot on, no need to fix something if it isn't broke.

Funnily enough, I'm playing on 360 and those screens look about the same as what I'm seeing when I play. Everything looks gorgeous.

I find this odd, as this is probably the first post of mine you've ever read. So rather than post a still image (which wouldn't prove much, since framerates matter) a vid link for you. Make sure to watch in 1080p.
