Dissapointed with merged armour,
Will see how the relationships go, but I think it might be ok.
Ok with FT since we have carriage system.
Dissapointed with same speed and jump on races.

I can't make a decision on the changes, because I haven't even played Skyrim.

Fo those people who are disappointed with Marriage or say it wont work, where can I find that playable demo/beta of Skyrim you obviously have?

Just kidding, lets all just :tes:

Played Arena, Daggerfall, Morrowind, and Oblivion; started with Morrowind.

Merged armor: meh, I understand their reasoning and will give it a try.
Relationships: yay.
Fast travel: yay (specifically, the availability of both instant and wagon travel)
Speed: meh.

Started with Oblivion, played Morrowind and Daggerfall.
Don't care about armor merge, or having the same initial speed/jump.
Disappointed in fast travel (didn't like either Oblivion's or Morrowind's, so..).
Happy about relationships.

From a Morrowind and Oblivion background, voted mostly neutral.

But why are you limiting one's background to just the Elder Scrolls series? When you said oldie, I was excited having come from old pnp and Apple II games. I've never really liked romance in ANY of my games, irregardless of my Elder Scrolls background. I think the Elder Scrolls games are too much like some fantasy Sim game or action video game now rather than and RPG or cRPG.

That opinon is based more on my entire RPG background.

Question 1: I played Daggerfall, Morrowind and Oblivion.

Question 2: Armor merged: I started playing the series with Oblivion and i am happy about(Only thing it should had more Variety of Armor)

Question 3: Romance: I started playing the series with Oblivion and I am disappointed.(It had none in Oblivion...)

Question 4: Fast Travel: I started playing the series with Oblivion and I am happy about it.(Could be better)

Question 5: Same Speed and Jump Height: I started playing the series with Oblivion and i am dissappointed

So? Sure it's the ESF, but it doesn't mean that my (nor others') backgoround and definitions are limited to only those games.

Thanks for the spot correction (I use it way too much). I'll be sure to center around that point next time ;)

And here's your period "." ;)

(checking to make sure oldie was in the OP some where...yep it's there. Tis where I was coming from in my previous reply)

According to Merriam-Webster it is a word, its just an informal word.

I started with Morrowind, but I've played Arena, Daggerfall, and Oblivion.

I'm mostly neutral now. I did kind of resent the merged armor...but now I don't care.
The running speed, while I don't care too much about, I do understand where people are coming from. Khajit and Argonians would probably be faster than the man and mer.
I would imagine if its anything like the real world the Redguards would be faster than the Nords, Imperials, or Bretons.
And I imagine the Wood Elves would be the faster of the Mer races.
So with all that diversity, I could see why that would be an upset.

You could adjust their speed with Armor with no problem I would guess. What do I know.

Started the series with morrowind the year after it came out and I've played morrowind and oblivion. I'm indifferent/undecided on merged armor and romance and don't care about fast travel at all but I am slightly disappointed that there is a static movement speed and jump height applied to all races.

I started with morrowind, then oblivion and gave up after 2 days of daggerfell even though I like the concept better.

Q#2 I voted that I was disappointed, not so much about the 1 less slot or mixing and matching, but the overall downward spiroll of less and less options every game i.e. magic, enchanting, armour slots, clothing slots, fast travel.....

Q#3, I'd prefer to vote... don't care, as long as it isn't dumb fable type relationship system.

Q#4 voted disappointed.... but I don't think it will be as bad as oblivion's system if we actually may get options other then walking.

Q#5 voted disappointed..... but would of voted "wait and see" if bothered to look that OP actually gave one.... guess I've gotten so used to bias polls around here I stopped looking for the 3rd option.

I started at the very begining with Arena, when Daggerfall came out I Loved it an spent far to much of my young advlthood playing it, When Morrowing came out which I thought took the game to another level. then Oblivion came out, this was my favourite so far.

I think that Bethesda have made improvments with every installment except for Battle Spire and Red Guard which i dont really count as true Elder Scrolls.

I cant wait for Skyrim, I think Bethesda are on the right track, sure their may be some dissapointments along the way, but on the whole I thing the game will be fantastic.

I don't know how anyone can be disappointed with the travel system. There are carriages, just like in Morrowind!
