Leave the kills with me, what I really need is a mule to carry my junk.

Ive said this before in another thread. a Brahmin. Dosnt talk to you ' Moo.. Moo!', carries a CRAP load of stuff and is pretty much a walking target which means you gotta be super paranoid.

and this is a throw back but Id love to see my fave alien rip off again:

Yes a Wanamingo! I know that the only queen we know off died in Redding after that damn Chosen One tried suicide but they were also found in the oil tanker.

They arnt that smart without the queen but I think they would make for an awesome companion to fetch things with their... tentacles.

I do recommend Battle Cattle for ALL YOUR TRANSPORT NEEDS, DUM DUMS!

+1 for first person to have a Brahmin flying their Vertibird around the map.

Good one. A docile brahmin, no battle cow, would be nice.

Honestly, I think a dog is the only animal that would be both useful as a companion and accepted in towns.

Hmm, well even less than a hand sized real ones can dig through concrete given enough time, though I have a hard time seeing them participate in combat, in other ways, unless given exorbitantly high hp's, possibly they could just be trained to search for "burried loot" around the player. Rootfruits for food and possibly other things.

So it would just scrounge up random loot/stuff for you...

I'm not fond of companions who charge into the line of fire. Granted ones that use my heade for archery practice......

If 4 or 5 molerats set upon a couple of bandits, distracting the bandits into attacking them instead of attacking you (or even seeking cover), it could buy you a few seconds to take out a t least one bandit with a few good shots. And who cares if the molerats die, they'll have served their purpose.

Now they might not be much use against a super mutant, but if (at a high queen level) 10 molerats were harassing 1 super mutant, and it was only killing them one at a time, that could still be very handy. Especially if the high-level queen was much bigger, stronger and tougher than regular molerats (say... smaller than a bear but bigger than a great dane).

Not an automatic fight winner, but useful :).

Mod it all you want, however, for them to put tamed animals in there is insane. Unless in, say, a dlc, you can get a collar to tame one of a few select animals.

I think a Drop Bear companion would be nice.

combat happens and your drop bear suddenly falls out of the sky to maul enemies to death.

Well everything is suppose to be usable in Fallout 4.

To get it by the fan base, all you need to do is include a 101 things to do with a dead cat

Two thumbs up!!!

PS A dead cat has to be at least as good in a junkjet as a teddy bear.

You know this could be my first mod....

Checkout the Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas nexus websites if you want to see how many different animal companions mods that have been created.

But what can you do with a dead cat carcass ~150 years extinct?

Goris 2.0 would be interesting. Otherwise a mole rat or mirelurk would be cool. We may be getting Brahmin , as we need to have caravans and satisfy the needs of our towns.

  1. Find a large (catering size) coffee can or paint tin
  2. Put mummified cat corpse in this
  3. Fire at enemy using Rock-It launcher

When it hits the enemy is concussed by the can, lacerated by shards of metal, bone, teeth and claws, and surrounded by a choking, blinding cloud of mummified cat dust. It may not be the most deadly Fallout weapon, but it has it's own unique brand of horrible .

in my pet mods, i add an option to have them avoid combat. if that's selected, they'll just make away to the next best safe place whenever you or they are under attack.

i think this should be a standard option for everybody who runs with you, from pets to companions to the random drunkard you're just clearing out that tomb for... :-)

hey, cross a mantis, a manta and a panther, you'll get a mantar, that's a flying claw fish with high voltage blasting antennas, but it looks cool... :-)
