Be neat to see some ice age type animals.. Like mammoths, wooly Rhinos, giant sloth, giant elk, sabretooth cat and such. Maybe something like knuckers & ice woRms too.

It does sounds like Cliff Racers will make an appearance due to Jiub knocking them out of Morrowind and since they wern't in Cyrodiil at the time of Oblivion, most likely they headed into Skyrim.

Yay.... :D

I think ice-bears would be awsome:) It would be a nice change, seeing as i hate the oblivion bears. Icebears would fit in norther skyrim to;)

What's wrong with Oblivion bears? The only thing I see wrong with them is when I'm walking through the forest and I randomly have half my health taken away as I'm being mauled.

I agree, I enjoy seeing strange creatures in strange locations, Cyrodiil is more of a realistic world while Morrowind is more like out of a dreambook.
And I like both completely equally in this sense, I would love a mix, but I'm expecting this area to be more realistic then fantasy to be honest.
It seems like this is an area mainly owned by men, not mer. Mer is very much fantasy, while as we have seen men bring in more of a realistic view.
When Argonia, Elsweyr, and the like are released, I expect extremely strange and interesting things. However, for now, I'm fine with moderate strange and a lot more realistic.
Though not all realistic, just because its a realistic place doesnt mean its not fantasy. I still want my full fill of strange and amazing creatures.

Skyrim isn't all frozen and seeing as I'im hoping for seasons we'll have Brown bears as well as Polar bears even though I hope they're gonna be creative there.
I don"t understand why everyone hates wolves and bears sure they exist in real life and YES that bothered me in OBLIVION. But that was because Oblivion's world was generic,
I'im hoping Skyrim isn't going to become anything like that and about monsters, the entire Scandinavian mythology is open for them.

Mammoths, Elk, and Sabretooth Cats have been confirmed as being in the game by the Game Informer article.
