Amorilia is updating the exporter from blender to nif format, and I have to test it :)

Hi, AA. long time to see. Hope you still remember my request, how the things going on ?
here is my request: put multi animations into one file, one idle one animation. if that done, modder can script one npc do multi work at different time. that will be a great resource.

here is my suggestions in 2009.

idle3 sit watch table,[imagine that this could be use to sim sit reading, sit play dice game, or sit outdoor watch camp fire]

idle4 sit eat and drink, [just your sit eat and drink, it looks perfect. before you used 4 idles, please put them in one idle]

idle5 normal sit [arms gesture naturely, imagine it could be use to sim sit talk or just sit ]

idle6 sit writing [for agent sim]

idle7 stand reading [this can sim stand study item in hand]

idle8 collecting [for farmer and alchemy gather plants, I suddenly think one npc kill another npc then crouch and loot his body, this can also use to sim set trap and disarm trap.....]

idle9 sleeping

that's enough to me.

Oh wow. I'm really impressed. These are so cool! This is a great addition. I'm so glad I noticed this thread. Thank you for creating and releasing this wonderful new mod. This will surely bring some badly needed life to Vvardenfell.

hello,

at the moment I don't know how I could merge the animations I have done, and get one file from them. :(

The animation kit can only combine different idles into one key file (kf), it cannot combine two or more different idles into one main idle. The only way to do that is to combine them via an animation program like Blender or 3DMax. I'm sure AA hasn't done it because they wouldn't fit properly into one idle.

Incredible work, Antares! I do like oll your mods, but this... This is something completely awesome.

By the way, can you make simple sitting animation? I mean, without fishing, reading etc. Just sitting and waiting?

This mod looks amazing, any extra things I'd need to do to get it to work with the Steam version?

Yay ! More awesomeness for Morrowind 2011. The last big part of the game that needed some love for ages (dreaming of a generic replacer).

Thanks for this Arcimeastro Anteres ! :)

I wanted to include these animations in the first Animated Morrowind, but I didn't have the chance then. Mainly, they are slaves working in the fields, and miners (that could not be not animated). The others are just fillers.

The Elder Scrolls III
MORROWIND:
Animated Morrowind II

by Arcimaestro Antares

************************************************

INTRODUCTION

This mod adds 37 new Npcs that use 9 new animations.

- 13 miners, 2 of them just move stuff around (Caldera Mine, Elith-Pal Mine, Yassu Mine, Abaelun Mine, Halit Mine, Dunirai Caverns, Yanemus Mine, Sudanit Mine, Dissapla Mine)
- 3 egg miners (Shulk Egg Mine, Queen's Lair, Hawia Egg Mine, Panud Egg Mine)
- 5 pilgrim prayers (they appear randomly: Vivec, Temple - Vivec, High Fane - Gnisis, Temple - Balmora, Temple - Ald-ruhn, Temple - Fields of Kummu)
- 3 sitting bandits, (somewhere in the West Gash and Azura's Coast Region)
- a Camonna Thong guy that plays with dagger (Balmora, in front of the Council Club)
- a slave cleaner, (Sadrith Mora, Fara's Hole in the Wall)
- 6 slave farmers, they have 2 animations (in the Ascadian Isles Region: Sterdecan's Farmhouse, Ules Manor, Manat's Farmahouse, Arvel Plantation)
- 5 sitting slaves (Shushan, Yakanolit, Zebabi, Saturan, Molag Mar)

Have a look at the first part of Animated Morrowind, here
http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=136072&id=8118

IMPORTANT: if you use the Animation Kit by Liz Tail, you have to run the Fix Animations function, otherwise you'll experiment problems.

CREDITS & USAGE

Many thanks to

- who released the tools Blender and Nifskope, used to make the animations. A special thanks to Amorilia at NifTools forum who released the exporter to export animations from Blender to Nif file. http://niftools.sourceforge.net/forum/

- the Scythe model (file name FarmerScythe.nif ), is made by Adul in Adul's Arsenal.

Feel free to use my part of this mod how you wish. Just inform me if you place it original or modified somewhere on Web.

it is not planned, but who knows?

Glad you noticed. Yeah, til now, we have seen the npcs just holding the items, and never items separated from the hands.
This result is a stroke of genius of mine :hubbahubba:
The Npc's skeleton, is made by body bones (arms, legs, spine etc...) that I can animate. However, there are other bones like the weapon bone, and shield bone, and I thought: can the shield bone be animated too? Fortunately, it can :)

One of the best mods out there.
I very much hope this will be expanded to many NPCs just like Animated Morrowind Part One was.
Now all that's really left is sleeping NPCs. Dancing animations are already done and implemented in Taverntime Vvardenfell.

Antares, I genuinely think you are the best. You are such a versatile modder.
