Animation Problems

Post » Fri May 06, 2011 10:40 pm

Hello everyone, I have been using Dirnae's animations and loving them. However, I recently downloaded the Animation Compilation which includes Dirnae's animations and the Almalaxia casting animation. I installed the mod as instructed in the read me, and when I load the game I get every possible 'can not find' message there is. HOWEVER! If I click 'yes continue to run' to the 35 or so messages, the animations still work! Everything works but I am still getting the messages. Now you can imagine how incredibility painful it is to have to listen and click through all that mess. If anyone has any advice that would be great. And for further information, I didn't uninstall Dirnae's animations, I just installed the Animation Compilation.

Turn on "Yes to All" and click once will make most of the clicking go away.

Not a solution, only a work-around.

The contents of your warnings.txt would be helpful. :)

The first message is :

NiAnimation Error: Object "Bip01 Tail4" Not found in NiAnimation

Second message is:

Unable to LayerActivate fo AnimGroup 'Idle" for "Clone Player1stPerson"

Third:

Is the same as the first

Fourth:
Unable to LayerActivate for AnimGroup 'Idle2' for 'Clone Player1stPerson"

It continues through the Idle groups, then moves on to the other animations such as: SwimKnockout, walkforward, walkbackward, turnleft, turnright. So on and so forth.

Any ideas?

Are you using the MW Code patch with the "Improved Animation Support" patch applied?

I had the same error messages (see the release thread for the mod for that discussion) and the solution I was given was to uncheck that patch, and the error messages did go away. Or, try only using the Dirnae + Casting as opposed to the Complete package; that also eliminated the error messages when I was troubleshooting my install.

I never thought about that, and it was in fact the problem. Now it runs without the error messages, thank you everyone!
