We're pleased to announce our first fan interview for Skyrim. Post your questions in this thread. Over the next few weeks, we'll deliver questions to Bethesda Game Studios to answer. Once we have answers to share, we'll post them here in the forums, as well as on the blog.

How is armor broken up? More like Oblivion (no pauldrons) or something more like Morrowind.

How are society's class distinctions shown? Can you be liked by the nobles and clergy, but disliked by the underworld and merchants?

With the slimming down of the traditional 8 attributes, how will encumberance now be handled?

Given the verticality of the world, will we see a return of slow fall, jump, or a similar spell (or skill) for safely traversing great heights?

In all of your interviews thus far, you have been focusing on Dragons. Without spoiling too much, will there be other types of horrible monsterious beasties that no mortal man should fight, such a a Balrog style beast? A simple yes or no will do.

Once again without spoiling too much, while the main focus will be on the Dragons, will there also be a major focus on things tlike the ongoing civil war? Again, a simple yes or no will do.

What will be the marketing scheme? Will we see walkthoughs in the style of Fallout and Oblivion, or will all we see of gameplay be from trailers?

About the random quests.

If all nearby dungeons have been explpored, will new quest locations be in far far away dungeons?

Will dungeons be reused for new quests if no other dungeons are availible?

How many "written" quests are in the game?

How big is the playable map in km/miles?

Will there be other realms to explore like Oblivion?

Will you be able to wear clothes over/under armour?

How versatile will the Creation Kit be? Will it be more flexible or less than the old Construction Sets we've had previously?

How will the spell system work? All the spells are going to be comboable or just a few of them for a unique effect?

Also, how will the music system work? Is it going to be the same as Oblivon or Fallout or it's going to be more dynamic and giving different areas their own theme music, like in New Vegas?

In terms of the factions which I understand will be released at a later time, how do you intend to show that there be a community between some and rivalry between others? As an example might the fighters guild have a stronger relationship with say a crafting guild.

To Todd:

Please tell us there will be werewolves and vampires and that we can become one or the other in the game, either DLC or main game!! PLEASE!!!:D

*calms down* Sorry just ALOT of us here want them to be in and able to become one, I hope they look like the werewolves in MW expansion *bloodmoon*

What gods will there be? Will there be the Nine Divines, or the Nordic pantheon(Ysmir instead of Talos, Shor instead of Lorkhan etc)? Further on, will there be any extra emphasis on Hermaeus Mora(Herma-Mora)? Will he just get the standard daedric quest, or will you develop him more, being the only daedric prince recognized by the Nords?

How will the NPC characters fill the cities? in the past two Elder scrolls games the number of citizens of cities or towns has been very small. The imperial city is supposed to be a huge city, and yet there are only around 50 or 60 NPC's that walk around in oblivion. Will Skyrim be indifferent or will it have a relative scale amount of people to each city?
