Are you considering including any sort of optional survival/hardcoe mode requiring the PC to eat, drink and sleep or suffer penalties, similar to FNV hardcoe mode?Would you consider releasing an official Bethesda 2048x2048 (or 1056x1056) high res texture pack for Skyrim? For the past few Bethesda releases using the Gamebryo engine, the scaled textures look pretty bad when playing on 1920x1080 resolution. The only solution has been to use third party 2048x2048 texture packs, such as Qarl's. However this results in a massive drag in the load times and some frame rate reduction. Bioware recently released an official high res texture pack for DA2, which tremendously improved the appearance at higher resolutions, but was optimized in a way that did not significantly reduce frame rates or load times.
Will Skyrim implement ambient occlusion (SSAO)?My all time favorite quests for any RPG i've ever played are "Whodunit?" and "Paranoia" - will we see some Skyrim quests that approach this level of brilliant writing? Hopefully lots of great quests like this!
Oblivion and Morrowind are perhaps the only games I've ever played where a single playthrough can last for hundreds or thousands of very enjoyable hours.
Will Radiant Story allow us to continue playing a single playthrough indefinitely? In other words, will the Radiant Story functionality continue to generate new quests based on factors such as, the disposition of certain NPCs, whether the PC has visited a certain dungeon recently, etc.?
Also, will dungeons continue to respawn (enemies, loot) after a certain period of time? (this is a follow up to the previous question about Radiant Story and being able to continue a single playthrough indefinitely)
Can you talk a little bit about how the Radiant Story features will affect the end user Creation Kit for those of us who want to create content mods?
Will the Necromancers be a joinable faction this time? Are there any cool Necromancy spells we can learn?
Will the Adoring Fan make an appearance? Is he non-essential this time?
Will we learn spells in the same way as Oblivion (purchase them)? or will there be perks that are essentially new spells?
Will we be able to improve skills by hiring trainers? Will we need to sleep to raise our level? Will there be any game mechanic that prevents us from repeatedly casting spells in order to raise our skill level? I loved Oblivion, but I sincerely hope that I won't find myself taking a break with the cast button on my keyboard taped down, waiting for a "bound dagger" spell to raise my conjuration level sufficiently to qualify for new perks.
Will we be able to combine many of the spell effects or only a few? For example, we know that we can combine Frost and a Rune spell to create a protective Frost Rune, but can we experiment with some crazy combinations for unexpected effects? For example, telekinesis in left hand and frost in the right hand = something new?
Will we be able harm enemies with Telekinesis? Will it be similar to the Telekinesis plasmid in Bioshock in the sense that we would be able to pick up large objects and hurl them at enemies, or hurl the enemies themselves?
Will we be able to combine some of the dragon shout words for new unexpected effects? Will we be able to craft arrows? Were the archery changes in Skyrim influenced by Duke Patrick's SCA Combat Archery mod? In a previous interview, you mentioned a mod called "Better Bows"; however, the only popular mod that seems to fit the description of these changes seems to be Duke Patrick's. (slow draw time, scarcity of arrows, enemies one-shotting PC, possibility of being interrupted, etc.)
Finally, please, please have some mercy on us and tell us WTH http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1186301-new-mystery-pics-thread-6/page__view__findpost__p__17621887__fromsearch__1 are. It is driving many people crazy.
