You've revealed the skill tree nebulae, what other ways have you decluttered the UI of menu screens?

Edit: hidden

Greetings, Developers!

I'm taking breaks in between New Vegas to check the forms. As a longtime gamer I want to commend and congratulate you all for distilling digital crack.

THREE THINGS

I have dreamed of a great many questions regarding the realm of Skyrim. I'm not worried about skill progression, I'm sure you are very busy crunching the numbers to find the sweet spot :-D I'm eager to discover the possibilities of the new radiant A.I. I've seen a lot of great stuff in NV like companions putting on clothes I give them. The faction system is also balanced nicely. Please Bethesda, make Tamriel come alive!!! I would like to ask for entire Quest Lines for like 3-4 companions, please. Permenant parties of three should be a realistic choice, if strictly optional. Can there be a difficulty slider dependant on size of party? Which makes me wonder how big the battles can get.... XD

Difficulty. I knew going into V that flowing, visceral combat was the biggest necessity for ES. Now take DS, a modern hardcoe classic, haha the only game I've earned a platinum trophy in, because along with the incredible world building is the thrilling challenge of combat, where the best reward is being the survivor. Upon browsing the forum, I think the root of all our really devoted fan worries are about challenge and content. With content, we are all praying for rain. :-) But I think the fun of Skyrim would be enhanced by putting fear into the hearts of gamers, by making creatures like Elder Wyrms and Giants as goshdarn tough as we imagine them to be. That can be solved I think with simply adjusting HP/DAM. But then...for Alduin...you should make him well...a world eater. This is the climix the ES has been waiting for!! XD You should make him XDeathX to anyone below lvl 40. And the fight of your life at lvl 50. Ragnarok is waiting for the player only when they are truly prepared. "Defeating" Alduin should surely end the game, who knows what will happen to Dovhakiin...But the Dragon God should be the best Final Boss Ever. hehe so players can achieve all their mythic deeds on Earth before ascending to the heavens and consecrating their story to legend.

Third - COLLECTOR'S EDITION ?? XD

4) :there's a handwritten note scrawled in the journal: ...close the loop to open the world... :the rest is unreadable:

1. Spell mixing and/or creation- will we have it?

2. How exactly are finishing moves triggered?

3. How are you making carriages so people will use carriages instead of fast travelling?

4. We saw a concept art of an archer with a flaming arrow. Will we see magical effects on the weapon now?

5. What can we see in terms of battles between the two warring factions?

6. How have you changed guilds from Oblivion? Will you need a certain skill level to advance?

7. What WAS that mystery picture labelled "spider hero"

8. Has alchemy been changed from Oblivion? If so, how?

9. Mounts- How are they coming along in the game?

10. Will we have any limitations for smithing?

11. What happens when we absorb a dragon's soul?

Thats all I have now. Thanks in advance :tes:

When will they have this question and answer thing out?

-Not a question directed at the devs.-

Also if devs are reading this......PLEASE: answer the questions that haven't been answered before!

Will NPC's be aware of my erm...lack of clothing?
:V

I dearly hope so. Between this and being complimented on your clothes, Morrowind easily trumped Oblivion in terms of NPC reactions, at least for greetings. :P

will armor be more customizable?
will some armor types look different for each race?
will the civil war be between only two factions or will there be an all out war with many different warring factions?
if i kill an NPC in a town will his body sit there forever or will and corpse wagon ( or someone) come pick it up at some time?

Give a straight answer, are there going to be werewolves and can you become one? Don't say "we're thinking about it"

okay, I have a few questions

1: are there going to be throwing knives? I know this sounds a bit irrelevant but I enjoyed using them in morrowind due to the feeling of badassery I got by killing things with them

2: In fallout new vegas, you were able to take animal meats & some hides & cook/tan them at a fire to make trade/consumable items, will this feature be implemented in any way?

3: is solstheim located near Skyrim & will we be visiting it? Ioved going there in morrowind

4: can players become werewolves? I loved this feature & was kind of disappointed when it didnt show up in Oblivion

5: Will the events of Oblivion be a major part of any quests in Skyrim? I assume they will but I want to be sure

6: What kind of technological advances, if any, can we see in skyrim? A friend of mine is kind of curious.

Many people on here are asking about the gameplay, but what I am wondering is can we expect a special edition? I'm already getting this game no matter what, and was just wondering if something was gonna be available for the more hardcoe fanbase. Thanks :D

1. Will their be any improvement or "changes" in the Conjuration magic school? (Ex : More summons at once?)
2. How will monsters in the wild act as individuals and in groups? Will they attack other species even if not in a group?
3. How many old and new monsters will we see? Overall how many species of monsters and humanoids will their be in-game in all?
4. Will Dwemer ruins be in Skyrim?, and if so, as a major part of Skyrim culture?
5. In all the previous ES games their have been man-made traps. Will we as the players be able to make traps similar or identical to these?
6. What (if any) new weapons, elements of magic, and armors will we see?

Thank you :)

How will encumbrance be managed in the game and how will you be able to increase your carrying capacity ( or what game mechanic rules it)?

Thanks

This is REALLY important to me, especially after New Vegas (I know Bethesda only published it, don't worry :) ) but will there be more battles between NPC's that the player can take sides in? Loyalists versus rebels, bandits versus guards, civilians versus goblins? Some of my favorite battles in Oblivion was fighting alongside guards at oblivion gates, and having more "random" battles like that would be a dream.

What will taverns be like? Will they be a place where the player will find it useful to stop in to hear stories / gossip?

1: You've said that some dungeons will be considerably longer than any found in Oblivion ("epic one-to-two hour adventures", IIRC). How will this affect looting? Has the encumbrance system been revamped to handle one to two hours' worth of loot?

2: The economy in Fallout 3 was significantly improved over Oblivion's due to the necessity of consumables such as ammunition and repair parts. Have you found a way to similarly improve Skyrim's economy?

3: How has the new radiant quest system affected factions? Is it utilised by factions at all?

4: Is there any insight you can give us into how blocking will work?

Some companion-related questions:

5: How many companions will we be able to have with us at once?

6: How customisable are companions? Will we be able to upgrade their armour and weapons? Will we be able to change them at all?

7: How independent are companions from the player? Will they level separately? If so, will we pick their skills and perks or will it be done automatically?

Finally:
8: How much inspiration has the Skyrim team gotten from the fanbase? Are the forums ever used as a source of inspiration? Are you guys lurking? :P

1. Will there be risks from using fast travel like encountering a bandit or creature on the way there?
2. Will there be a limit to conjuration summons (infinite in Morrowind or a petty 1 in Oblivion)?
3. Will you be able to enchant items effectively, unlike Morrowind (where a 100 in Enchant and 100 in Intelligence only allows small enchantments)?
4. Will the armor system be like Morrowind (left and right pauldrons, gauntlets, shirts/pants under armor, and robe over armor), and will you be able to decorate it with things like wood, bone, leather, metal studs, etc?
5. Will the helping/ruining the economy effect one village/town or will it effect all settlements in Skyrim
6. Will M'aiq be back?

one complaint that led to the oh goodness that was Oblivions level scaling (leveling -everything- from spells, items, weapons....) were people finding powerful items in morrowind, and with each new game, going straight for that powerful items location initially and thus ruling morrowind and then claiming that the game was too easy....

exactly who's fault was that.

True question.

Since Radiant story can Move Npc's based on quests...are powerful artifacts and items handled the same way? so that with each new game, the Artifacts and unique items are placed in different locations under different circumstances, since RS distinguishes between Child at dungeon X and Damsel in distress and Dungeon X based on the Quests.

will these Artifacts and unique items be ruled under the same thumb, keeping a fresh experience everything and invoking a satisfaction when finally coming across a desired item at whatever level one may be, and still acquiring it through hard work a preperation.

Please....do not level spells/items/weapons.........
