ok so im a redguard birth sign the warrior class knight level 23 im working on my destruction, alteration amd mysticism (all minor skills) they are all really low (22,24,28 respectively) should i keep improving them aggressively and not worry about my major skills or should i look to improve one of my major skills along side them so i level up faster

Well, don't level up destruction and alteration much more than 10 times per level, or you're wasting willpower points.
So level up major skills along side, is what I would do.

It depends on if you care about receiving the Intelligence/Willpower multipliers when you level up.

Destruction and Alteration are governed by Willpower, so if you want the +5 multiplier to Willpower when you level up then you should only increase those two skills a total of ten times per level. Mysticism is governed by Intelligence, so if you want the +5 multiplier in Intelligence when you level up you should only raise that skill ten times before you level.

But if you have no interest in raising your Intelligence/Willpower, then I don't see where it would be a problem to raise those skills without raising any majors.

cheers i have been improving my hand to hand along side the minor skills but wasn't sure if i should just concentrate on my minor skills and leave the major skills

ps it's pretty fun fighting a goblin warlord sometimes two or three at a time just using hand to hand combat of course with a few summoning spells chucked in to even the fight up a bit
