I'm also having a lot of fun with Crysis 2. I'll explain to you possible reasons why people are pissed:

1-Too different

2-It works for consoles and it didn't utterly fail on those consoles like some people wanted, in order to have Crytek say that they made a mistake...yet in reality, Crytek didn't make a mistake and they made on of the best multiplatform games in recent time.

3-They are experiencing minor bugs and overexaggerhate

4-They experience major bugs and are impatient to wait for fixes

5-Ignorance and impatience

6-Riding the hate-filled bandwagon. In other words, in some people's mind, it's "hey look, everyone is hating this game. I love it but you know what, now I hate it." It's a type of influence to stray one's opinion away from what they actually think. Physcological **** really.

Crysis 2 FTW, I just got the Feline and I'm loving it

The multiplayer experience is ruining the whole game. As for textures and console port i don't care single player was decent but short.

Agree. I think out of the current gen of FPS C2 is my all time favorite, with MW2 coming a close 2nd...

Textures svck. -----> Maybe but overall it looks terrific and don't ruin the experience

I have been gaming for ages (30 years atari, arcades, spectrum, c64, amiga, sega, xbox, 360 and pc) and I think it's ace sure there are problems but all big software products have issues at release.

What?? It took me 10 hours 40 minutes on Veteran. Post Human Warrior should take well over 12 hours.

And take your generic FPS game:

Call of Duty: 4 hour campaign
Battlefield: Great multiplayer, absolutely horrendous campaign.

Not a port and proof is how CryEngine 3 works.
Textures are half the resolution of Crysis 1's so yeah they svck, but I've seen textures at the same quality of Crysis 1 every now and then.

Anti-cheat system released, I've barely seen hackers and I'm not alone when I say this.
It's a game without the polishing. Blame EA for not giving Crytek the time they needed to finish.
Multiple major critic reviews, PC gamers, and ****, EVEN CONSOLE GAMERS, state that this is a unique fps game that this genre needed. Not even close to a CoD clone.
And did I mention it's not a port and proof is how the CryEngine 3 works? I suggest you do your research you **** idiot, you make the PC community look bad. GTFO

I agree. Instead of trying to top crysis and warhead they tried to make a clone of halo's campaign and CODs multi. They succeeded at stealing ideas but failed at executing those stolen ideas.

Instead of making games like crysis and warhead which were different than any FPS they decided to make this game the same as every other game out there. Its **** the OP is correct.
