I went looking for the last "weird things happen in Skyrim" thread and gave up after 5 pages. But I had to write down the bizarre thing that has just happened.

I had a few problems with my last character so I started a fresh one and was wondering around abit before I went to kill the first dragon in Whiterun - anyway - I accidentally stole something out of Asta's bag in Eldergleen Sanctuary after she had been killed.

Then went back to Whiterun and went on to do the dragon - on my way back to Whiterun from the dragon to speak to the Jarl three thugs try to kill me, they have a note on them saying they had been hired by Asta. She is dead. Talk about "Spooky action from a distance".

That's a well-known bug. Hell, people have hired thugs going after them after pickpocketing a Briar Heart's Briar Heart.

That kills the Briar Heart if you do that, by the way.
