Another druid rp?

Post » Fri May 27, 2011 6:23 am

Hey guys,

I haven't been active for a very long time around these forums, I've been lurking around the threads that's about it, and I've got that urge to roleplay again now, I think O.o. I've posted a few char sheets around the active thread roleplays that have been going on, but I never bothered to actually post, a typical excuse I'd use would be writer's block  ..

Anyways, I've decided to re-use one of my old plots for another druid rp that I had going back in the past with a few improvements to it, as some of you that participated in it or read may know about it, for those of you who don't know I won't be telling what the plot is till it's completed and edited :P. Just curious on how many people are actually interested, and there are some important roles in the roleplay that needs fulfilling to actually progress the storyline, it's nothing too complicated by the way. :)

Just gonna brief on what genre the rp is gonna be on adventuring/journeying (defo :D), good vs evil-thing happening, character development etc.

P.S. If there's not enough interest or what not, then I won't bother posting it up. If you wanna help develop it, send me a pst *looks at FC4*

Cheers,

Pandar ;o

Ideally, the main thing you need to post on here to actually develope any interest is a story. A good story, which makes sense, draws people in, and provides lots of reasons for the goals/objectives of thsoe participating in the RP, I wouldnt post a skeleton of the story unless you're really struggeling to write it up and need help filling in the flesh. As for the whole Good vs evil thing, i dont think alot of people on this forum would buy that since many believe that in the tes universe there is no such thing as good/evil, just different shades of grey and many different intentions. Besides good/evil depends on personal opinion.

and if you allow weather control I call dibbs on the fog control/ice magic otter

It's just a thread asking people on how they feel about another druid rp coming up, or if they're the type of audience that are into the genre and like that sort-of roleplay, and what their is, and if it's positive, well then, that's just awesome, we can go up and running with posting it up, and don't think of this as an excuse to not post the plot, mate, I just ain't posting it yet 'cause I hate spoilers. D=

I'm not really struggling with it, I've explained it on my reply to the first quote. ;o

Even though people may not buy that, they would at least get what I meant, the good vs evil thing, it's pretty much a faction vs faction-thing going on for those who don't know, except everyone is just roleplaying on the one side, and the other side is obviously the main enemy that we're up against.

And yeh, I'll agree with you there, mate, there really isn't any good/evil in tes, it's a matter of opinion, and I'm not gonna argue with that, I mean who am I to define what evil is?

Ha, we'll see Cirith about weather controlling, dunno if that'd be necessary, but hey it's an idea, talk to me through pst. ;o

im not saying an entire plot needs to be posted, but atleast a timeline of events building up to the story or the introduction. I mean, once you post the thread, people will be reading it their any ways, its better to build up some memberso n this thread first so you dont waste you're time.

As for weather control, well. Hmm... About that.. Try to keep in believable, nobody likes Uberness, and weather controle pretty much is, especially when you could kill an entire population by drying out their water and crops with the sun.. I doubt weather control could even be RP'd well, its just one step to far for me.

Oh, Weather control can be rped well, if someone has either enough knowledge of weather patterns, or enough experience to manipulate their manipulating powers into an unuber way. *somewhat confused self*

If I do join, Pandar, I think that I won't be helping in development this time, as the last times apparently garnered me a reputation for stealing people's roleplays from them, a reputation I fancy none-too-much.

Also, Argoth and Karen would not be making an appearance, at least under my control as PCs. if you wish for either to be an NPC, just tell me and I'll play them as such, but I think my Enigmatic Druid Father-Son pair should be laid to rest now.
