I was browsing through Bethesda's Amazon.com market and I noticed that Oblivion Game of the Year Edition is getting released September 13th 2011.
Didn't they recently released the 5th Anniversary Edition? And wasn't the Game of Year Edition released long time ago?

product description says it is the 5th anniversary edition. i think the difference is the 5th anniversary edition comes with a bunch of extra junk, i think the GOTY edition is just the game. its also cheaper than the 5th edition.

No, no! The game content for both Game of Year edition and 5th Annivestiy edition is the same. I know this as a fact because I have the 5th anniv. edtion and the game of the year edtion. Even though the game content is the same, the 5th anniverstiy edition has metal case and making of disk.


I am only confused of why they would release the game of year edition this fall when it was already released in 2007.
