I just got Fallout: NV today, installed the update. Awesome, I'm ready to play. I start playing without a hitch, choose my SPECIAL, turn on hardcoe (why not, right?), talk to Victor who sends me to the saloon, I talk to the girl who gives me a bb gun (Love the ability to aim down the sights), continue the tutorial (first time I'm playing this game might as well see what else they changed, go to the first well (she looked maybe a little skippy running around, and got held up by her dog once, no problem tho), (she) kill(ed) the geckos (I got the kill shot with the bb gun), loot there dead bodies (I can carry 210, why not), start making my way to the second well and frozen absolutely no motion I pressed and held the "ps" button but nothing came up, I let it sit for about 5 minutes but nothing. So I give it a hard power down and called it a night. Please help.

*EDIT* this is on a 60GB 1st gen PS3, first problem I've had since GTAIV
