Another Skyrim article making reference to werewolves

I'm not sure what to make of this article above. It could be that they are referring to the existence of werewolves in lore, rather than the existence of werewolves in the game.

There was another article someone else found recently that mentioned werewolves, and most people on these forums were of the opinion that the author never saw werewolves, but just mentioned it as part of the game's lore.

Anyway, what do you guys think of this more recent article, particularly on this second mention of werewolves? Whatever you may think about werewolves, I did find the article an interesting read as it compares some aspects of Morrowind's and Skyrim's worlds.

I'm really hoping that werewolves are in the game but you can't be one. Oh that would be so funny to me!

As much as i'd like it to mean they're in i can't see why Beth would be so secretive about it only to casually drop "werewolves are in a bundance" in some article. Fingers crossed though

That's...interesting. To me, this means they're in. They could have chosen anything else; Giants,Trolls, Dragons, hell, even mud crabs. But no, they chose werewolves.

Dude... I want werewolves to be in the game, but I didn't see any mention of them there. Okay, I must have read that wrong.

Well, I don't know if I'm totally convinced yet. I hope that in coming weeks, we get more mention of werewolves.

Wait! scratch that, cheese (read: werewolves) for no one. That can be as much of a celebration, if you don't like cheese (lycanthropy). True?

True, indeed.

If even one journalist had gotten this information from a reliable source, Bethesda would openly confirm the existence of werewolves. Just more rumors here folks.

I almost hope that I hear nothing about werecreatures until my player starts getting strange dreams after a struggle in a dark cave where I wasn't sure what we were fighting.

Interesting, very interesting.....

Not direct confirmation, but it might be another hint they are there.

I'm not sure I buy them popping up more and more frequently as the release date draws near.

Anyone else starting to suspect werewolves are going to be the final carrot being held infront of us before release?

I feel like the possibility is already being dangled, like someone holding out an empty hand for their pet to come and investigate for the possibility of finding a treat that isn't there.

Here kitty, kitty...

I'm sorry, but I fail to see the humor in this, unless you're just being spiteful.

A lot of people would be pissed if they were in the game, but you couldn't be one, including myself, as I am a fan of Bloodmoon's werewolves. No, if werewolves are in the game, you will be able to be one. I just can't see Betheseda angering their fans in this way.

And, guys, you've got to admit that werewolves looked amazing in Bloodmoon. Imagine just how much more awesome they'd look in Skyrim, with the hugely ramped up graphics and all.

It's probably just a statement of lore, but I hope it isn't. *crosses fingers* ^_^

Honestly, i want something new, not a graphically improved rehash of a mechanic from an expansion pack 2 games ago. I'm not even crazy about vampires at this point...

SOOO BOOORING!

Literally everyone does vampires and werewolves, I'm tired of them.

And what would you suggest? A wereboar? A werebear?

I just fail to see the interest in these. Perhaps I'm just a traditional werewolf really devoted fan, you know, of movies like Bad Moon, or American Werewolf in London, or Van Helsing, etc.

But, to every man his own I guess.

Now, one creature I suppose would be cool would be a wereshark. Just imagine cruising the northern seas and the rivers and lakes of Skyrim, waiting for the unfortunate NPC to waltz into the water.
