Co-op worked for us, I have a static ip simply for games like this. Performance was PERFECT.
We really enjoy the game, less one thing that is whack. When a player goes down you have 10 seconds to revive the player or it's game over. 10 seconds may sound like a lot but it's about 15 seconds to short. You can be quite a distance from another, no mini-map (the trail does help) but in battle it's hard to break multiple enemies. I've searched for an ini to adjust that timer, no luck. I have to play on easy because one down man is pretty much restart. Bummed about this one, I hear in single player a down AI lasts indefinitely.
That game is going to be fun and last some time if you play it to get to every "flashy" you see. If you just run through the corridors, yep it will be over much faster. I say get your $50 worth.
That said, if you just pick up the game, don't invest in setup to get it all smoothed out and on top of that can't get coop to work, I can understand the hatred. However get it all right I can see it's going to be a real good two player game.
It's Fantasy Gears of War with a treasure hunting.
Developers imo have to be more understanding how this game plays on many systems from the go. It was pretty rough on my end and it takes a little know how to make it shine. Perhaps this game plays perfect on some rigs with the defaults. But many it won't, your customers will come away with a poor feeling towards the game. There needs to be some type of Option setting to adjust things I adjust in the ini to make the game much more representative of a smooth experience.
