so i will attempt keep this brief (and hope there is still a community here to help me)

Fallout 3 goty (steam version) crashes when entering (that is after going through the door) to vault 101 atrium during the escape.

it is installed outside of program files/ program files(x86)

i will try best to describe it by word, but i would rather post the big picture i made of it (which i can right now)

Os: windows 7 professional sp1 64 bitdirectx 11Processor: intel core i7 - 4790 @ 3.60GHz (8 cpus)      (i think they are partitioned because the place i bought it from said 4 cores)Ram: 8 gb (8192 mb)GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 745  4095 mb memorydisplay mode 1600x900

fixes i have tried

editing the FALLOUT ini (actually i discovered that when i opened for the first time this was already applied)installing FOSE and the unofficial fallout patch (launching from fomm)installing the 4gb patch on the fallout exeinstalled k-lite basic audio codec(s) thingactivating/ updating .net framework though Turn Windows features on or offturning off anolyzing and anisotropic filtering

none of that fixed it

before i did any patching/ 'fixing' i crashed just before i got to 'read' the "your SPECIAL" book
