Lets see, first step, trying to quiet the Captain Obvious people who reply:

Clean install of windows 10.

All updates downloaded and installed,

All video card drivers up to date.

Worked fine in windows 8 and 8.1 after some ini. tweaking found elsewhere.

Installed via steam. Downloaded all frameworks it wanted.

Rebooted to make sure everything is in order.

Gets to the launcher, where you click play game for the first time. Click it.....

Nothing happens. No error. No crash. The launcher goes away and its like i never tried to play to begin with. The only thing that is new, is Windows 10, and it wont even start the game.

Clues please? Thanks.

What happens if you manually start Fallout3.exe instead of using the Launcher?

and you definetly have Windows Live installed?

Microsoft just changed it , because I used it less than 2 weeks ago. And searching in their site it can be found here ...

Appears to still be the latest version.

Normally I'd guess people could just do their own searching for it ... but a google search brings up a few sites offering it ... and they appear to be offering it with addware in tow.
