It contains a really poignant and thoughtful story, as well as being very cleverly constructed.
At the end of it, I was initially sorry that I couldn’t have convinced Lu'ah to give it up without the need for bloodshed, but then I realised that her grief and anger had overwhelmed her so much that she had become them, to the exclusion of everything else. And of course, there was an element of rescue to the dungeon’s mission. Reading the letter of condolence, it seemed unlikely that the object of her grief would have approved.
Of course, the other thing I love about Ansilvund is the fantastic reward at the end.
I think whoever it was who thought this all out has some really impressive creative and narrative talent.
