Post » Wed Aug 18, 2010 7:17 pm

I?ve been reading Vivec?s sword meeting with Cyrus, and noticed the title the Yokus give lord Vivec, Ansu-gurleht.

I think i?ve seen this title/name before, but i cant seem to recall where. Could someone help me out here?

http://search.freefind.com/find.html?oq=ansu&id=72791987&pageid=r&_charset_=utf-8&bcd=%C3%B7&scs=1&query=gurleht&mode=ALL&search=all yields these results. It's only in one spot.

Ansu, on the other hand, is listed as a common female Dunmer name.

Ansu is a derivative of the more common Ansei, which are the Sword Singers of Yokuda/Hammerfell.

Yep, I would guess that Ansu is the singular of Ansei.

"gurleht" always reminds me of "girly". Was that the point?

Since they refer to him as "Devil" and "Demon" , perhaps it translates to "Sword Devil" or "Devil Swordsman."

Ansei seems to refer to either singular or plural, like deer.
