Answers to all of your questions

I'm a reasonable man who enjoys browsing the vastly diverse opinions of my fellow pc gamers, prominently, the Crysis 2 gamers who have been plagued by bugs which can only be likened to the apocalypse. Insert troll face here. I'll keep this thread sweet and to the point in an attempt to convey simplified answers to the arsenal of f*ckwits who continue to post pointless threads on a daily basis.

DX11:
Quit your biching. It will be coming soon enough, hundreds of threads recounting your utter disgust at the lack of this feature will not spur Crytek into bringing it to you any faster. There are more pressing things at the minute.

You want a refund and you want it now:
Well done, here's a cookie.

Crytek sold you out:
No they didn't. They did a fantastic job with the tools they had at hand within a painfully limited time frame induced by the bastards we have learned to call EA.

I can't connect to multiplayer!:
Neither can a lot of us including me. Again, quit your biching; they'll be working to fix it. In the meantime, go make a sandwich and discover mastvrbation.

I spent all this money on a pc that isn't pushed to it's limits by Crysis 2!:
And? I personally prefer the smooth gameplay and the nice looks that are included in Crysis 2. I would like to apologize on Crytek's behalf that Crysis 2 didn't live up to your skewed expectations. If you're anol enough to crawl behind a bin and complain that the sticker on the back of it is half the resolution of those found in Crysis 1, then you have way too much time on your damn hands and have missed the point of the game.

WHEN WILL WE GET A PATCH!?:
When Crytek decide to release one numbnuts. No matter how entitled you may think you are, or how much morality you rub in my face regarding the fact that pc gamers made Crytek what they are today, they are a business. Deal with it. They will do what they can to earn money and hat's off to them, they've done that extremely well.

Why does it burn when I pee?:
What?

I'm never buying another Crytek game ever again!:
You go girlfriend! No really, I fully support you and your decisions. I'd rather the servers I play in weren't filled with tw*ts like you anyway.

Does anyone still like Crytek?:
Yes, many people do including me. They messed up a bit on this one. OK, maybe a little bit more than a "bit" but everyone is entitled to a few mistakes. Considering you call yourselves die-hard Crytek fans, you're sure doing your part to support the developers through this **** time for them. Oh wait...

Good stuff, but a few things a bit edgy and disputable. Regardless, this thread definately shuts up the common complaints people have, but I don't think the hate will stop because there are SO MANY new users joining and really.....everything you said in this thread, I've explained at least 4 times better (no offense to you tho, i'm just experessing how much in detail i'd explain) and stronger yet there's always like five more people who won't either understand or know.

The PC community has really become much worse than say 20 years ago.

Oh yeah, Crytek already has a patch ready. Patch 1.2 and they released it but something went wrong so they had to reverse it. Either way, it's mistakable release still proves its existence and that it'll be released very soon.

Also to add to your Crytek not being sellouts, they didn't sellout, they expanded and for good reasons being that Crysis 1 was a failure to them. The profit from that game mostly went to EA first off, and then to Crytek and there wasn't a lot of profit to compensate for the resources and effort put into the first game. That is why Crysis 2 is multiplatform.

I like that you like my opinions, I did however keep the answer very short and simple to avoid people seeing a wall of text and clicking out.

a company, or business is not created or rather stays in business to not make any money otherwise it would not be in business.

Not arguing here I'm waiting for patch.. However there are other company's who do multi-platform well. Pc gaming is difficult i have had my share of pre-matured released games but some do it right the first time even though it might be a post-poned date. They do have experience with PC gaming is the problem and easy to modify config file with little or no encryption is well.. retarded in a sense and I assume that many people are pissed for that soul reason. To me.. Well i like the game and Crytek they just didn't have enough time to do multi-platform right this early, should of been a longer beta test. But then again that would cost more money..

P.S most EA games svck imo, so i kinda semi-expected this. A big company like EA usually is the problem with pre-mature release date gaming from my experience as a gamer (online play).

A Dev from Futuremark explained to me the process of patching a game (can't find the thread to save my life) and then having to test it only to find that the patch needed work. So to release it until they've vetted it would do no good. Then you also have to take into account that many different PC configurations make it much harder to work out bugs then on consoles, hence the reason consoles get the first fixes.

Neither, just a guy without as much time on his hands as it would appear most of you have. The game doesn't work properly, granted. You ever been in a situation where you've made a mistake and everyone has jumped on your back? Not a nice feeling at all. For me at least, we should start flaming Crytek when it's clear that absolutely nothing is in the works to fix these problems. I know people like you are under delusions of grandeur that patches can be made in seconds, and problems go away because enough people cry about it. Welcome to the real business world buddy.

Most people here know that Crytek made some mistakes and most would surely stay quiet and wait until the patch (hopefully the upcoming one fixes most problems) is released. What pisses off the custormers, including me, the most, is Crytek's information policy on this matter. If the ones responsible for this mess don't get straight with their customers after almost two weeks something is seriously going wrong. For many the game is unplayable as it is now and I wouldn't want to start a game if there's a chance to encounter this major bug that lets me lose all nano catalysts I got so far.

Nice to know your a busy guy. Thanks for that.
Afraid when i am sold an 'item' which wont work, i am kind of annoyed, but simply go back, reorder etc and get a new one. In this case its not possible. I like the concept of the game, but its sadly broken with no eta for any fix. If your happy with that, then fine.
Im not.

I say if playing is frustrating and doesn't make a person happy, or satisfied, then just find another game to play that does.

Simple as that.

If you purchased a burger and it was cold and full of toilet paper, would you complain? Or would you just go to another restaurant and not ask for your money back? That's the point here, people have put in £30 in to something that's not as expected and what more not as promised. So on those grounds, they have a right to get upset and post on the games official forum, if this game was good you would not have these posts, because it's not you do... fact of life.

^-- This

Didn't deliver what was expected or promised. Paying $60 bucks for a beta is unacceptable and if we (the gaming community in general) would stop spreading its legs for every game developer that pulls out a game, we wouldn't have so many bullsh*t crappy games.
As it stands, many (console gamers are more guilty) accept bullsh*t quality and just pay for it. I for one am tired of console leftovers. Tired of paying for and playing trash. I expected Crytek to not screw me, well they did and everyone else.

True that, I usually blame it on EA for giving tight release dates to the developers. Mass Effect 3 is coming out THIS holiday.....lolwut? Mass Effect 2 came out in 2010, it's TOO SOON for ME3. You know what I'm saying? That's why Bioware's DA2 svcked (one reason at least....it's good now tho). EA just wants their $$ and fast.

Bad example IMO. Crysis 2 is more like buying a burger and the chef couldn't put the ketchup and pickles in time. The ketchup and pickles are to come later. Why couldn't the chef finish? His boss got angry and forced him to rush the burger out in order to get to the other customers quickly.

Same relation with Crytek and EA.

It is great to be able to read topics of people that think that the best way to waste their time is to make topics insulting and lacking to respect of people that have bought the game(like me) and that is angry cause Crytek have not done what they have promised to us or found that the game have big stupid bugs.

Ah... I feel great. Someone have told me that DX11 will be done when it will be done and they gone to release it when they gone to release it. Great, I didn't know it, yeah.

Now I only need an OFFICIAL POST from Crytek that tells us that they are working to us, saying sorry for the disturbance, and giving us some expected dates... that of course they can change if they found some problem, with the implementation... to not bich any more about this. :D
