Oh, gosh, that looks fantastic. Could you do a closeup of the new textures? I'd like to see the face, hair, etc. better :D

there aren't completely new textures

http://img10.imageshack.us/img10/6193/jjjga.jpg

The female body texture, is from the http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=6825 by Cappucine and Westly, modified a bit by me.
The tentacles are the dreugh's tentacles, recoloured and doubled, the face is an original bethesda's texture, and the hair/ears in this pic is from http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=1922, recoloured by me.

Oh, ok. You fixed the blending at the waist, and she had the new "bra" (if you want to call it that :P), so I assumed these were the textures that Westly volunteered to do :) It looks great!

Hey, have you thought of creating some new animations for the Dreugh that allows them to use spear like weapons? I didn't get an answer for my question about the swimming Cecaelia though, so I'm not sure if it's possible to allow them to still swim.

at the beginning, it had swimming animation, then I liked it more like a non acquatic creature, and deleted the swimming animation. Now I am also considering to replace the tentacle texture with a snake texture, if I find any.

About the dreugh, I am planning to add new creatures only, so the original ones will be untouched.

You say you want to replace the tentacles with a snake tail (woo! Land based lamia!) but you'll still release the version with tentacles, right?

In regards to swimming vs. walking, wouldn't it be able to walk along the seafloor (IE, what octopi tend to do anyway)? So you could put it in grottos or even just lurking amongst the rocks at Azura's Coast?

Try http://www.cgtextures.com/ for snake textures, under "Animals" then "Reptiles" then "Snakes." :)

Thanks for the link to the textures!

I'll make only one creature (to decide if snake or octopus) because I don't like to recolor a creature and pretend it is a new one.

I have to decide what I like more, if an octopus or like snake.

My vote is for octupus. If it was one tail that it was slithering around on, I would suggest snake, but I really really like the look of the octopus.

I prefer the octopus look, too. The big scales don't look right to me on the tentacles. :/

so, octopus will be.

Any daedric ruin where I can place the Cecaelia?

Edit: Tusenend Shrine looked good for me.

I have uploaded the mod at PES. Non Pending.

Any feedback?

Haven't used it yet in-game but works smoothly in nifskope (but I'm sure you already know that :))

Sorry, forgot to download D: I might see if this can be used in Riller-Mosh, though I'll have to see if Midget and the others agree though.

Feedback: creature is good :rock: , so good in fact that I have added it already to my personal/test version of water life and plan to add it to the next release version of water life mod.
The only thing that I would change is setting the alpha property of the hair to testing so the hair remains visible when looking at it from above water surface.
