[WIPz] Antares' Creatures - Hill Giant

Post » Fri May 04, 2012 8:41 am

I meant [RELz]...

This mod adds a new creature, the Hill Giant, in Solstheim.
There is only one of them, located in the Solstheim, Hirstaang Forest Region, on the hill next the Earth Stone.
It's an unique creatures, and does not respawn.
This mod requires BLOODMOON

Thanks, good work! Click didn't work, cut and paste did. got it.

EDIT: Read the permissions, and I'll probably find a way to work this guy into the chapter of Keening that takes the player on a quest into Skyrim. Thanks again!

Oh - I assumed the knobby knees were intentional?

Maybe. It's funny to look at at first.

P.S. What do you prefer to be called now? I find myself at a loss when someone changes accounts.

The giants in Skyrim indeed have some knobby knees.

I like the giant, especially the head. It looks very nice. But I still think he's a bit too slim.

I'm getting a "Not Found" page currently.

But nice work though I would prolly change his name to "Giant" on my game since he looks like a Skyrim-Giant, if I ever get this download to work.

This is off-topic but you are good at creating creatures (I got a few creatures you've made) and I was wondering if you ever made a Lich in Morrowind that looks like Oblivion's Liches and have the same animations, or very close?

Looks great.

try the link posted above by Abot, using firefox.
Anyway, I have uploaded a new version (slightly improved the knees and runforward anim) at PES.
When available, I'll update the download link.

Actually, the next battle is going to be Frost and Hill Giant versus Frost Atronach and Frost Monarch. Should be fun. :)

Oh okay. I've been looking for a mod that does something like that cause the current Liches are just Skeletons wearing robes. Nothing magical/special about them. I actually renamed them to Skeleton Mages while renaming Bonelords to Liches cause Bonelords are more closer to being Liches than those Skeletons.

Brilliant Work as always. Thanks for releasing this as a resource.

btw i had an idea which would allow for a lot of variants of this Hill Giant without having to create meshes for each variant.I see that the base armature you have used is a human one and the pose of the body matches with default races so why not add the giant as a race without with a little more work on the mesh, this will allow to give as many different weapons to the giant so as to create more variants (and if possible custom armors too),i might try it myself but i dont have much experience with race things and i dont have much time at present.

Seems you are in dire need of a new lich so what say about this: http://i1100.photobucket.com/albums/g416/TheHolyWraith/Lich.jpg
well the image does not show much detail but it does look good on a closeup.

Nice. I like it a lot though it is in the color of a Nether Lich and I think it is missing a staff. I like how Antare does it with the weapons by adding them as part of the model.

Anyways.. Overall: I like that a lot and I would use it as a Nether Lich Model for sure.
