Anti-Aliasing: can you turn it off?

Post » Tue Feb 17, 2009 6:25 pm

i don't have crysis2 yet, but i wanted to know if it's possible to turn off aa in any way: cvars, commands etc, in demo i couldnt manage to turn it off, commands for aa just didnt change anything so i'm curious if it's possible in final game, same thing with motion blur and other effects

@r3mxd: who cares about your gtx590? some people like blurred image, some dont and i would like to have higher fps with turned off aa, i dont care about aliasing, my pc isnt crap, it's not new but still gtx260 is enough for those console ports like crysis2

There is one way, I believe.

You can customize some video settings thru your ATI software or NVIDIA and make it override any video settings that are set in the games.

(Ops, sorry. Just notice somebody said what I said before I said it, hehe)

But you said;i know, tried it with demo and it didnt work

You can't rely on a demo as it was impossible to even customize graphics at all in the demo, it's not the same as a complete game. Try again with the complete game.
