I've found myself kicked out of multiplayer servers almost every time recently. It does not say I was banned, just that I lost the connection. However I'm wondering if Virusscan or steam or some other innocent background program might be the reason I'm getting kicked. Could this be or do I just have terrible luck with servers?

note - when I finally do get on a server I am instantly killed by someone firing while cloaked. I hate you stupid hackers.

another note- single player is pretty darn fun but too easy! Please add another difficulty level! Post-human in C2 does not even compare to delta in C1.

I'm a C2 Steam user too. But I don't have the problem you got there. And yeah. I hate cheaters & hackers. Jackal 1 shotkill, firing without discloak, can't survive a single grenade while in Armor mode with good energy left and health.

If you keep playing on private server then you always will be hit by cheaters wagon.

What kind of a background program do you suspect? I use EVGA Precision for tracking FPS and GPU temperature but have had no problems. As far as I understand that is a kind of software that could be falsely identified as hacking.

Join servers from your recent/favorite list. You're running into the same connection error that a lot of other people have been getting since the multiplayer demo over 2 months ago.

this ant-cheat don't work, this is a weak solution, people that dont use cheat has ben kiked and have a infestation of hackers and cheaters in all servers. The EA and the Crytec are losing this fight the rackers are in all server a wana my money back!

just check the leaderboards every day new cheaters are coming in there so no anti cheat dont work

whatever crytek says with the magic words ( fine tuning) is just BS

how long do you need to fine tune something.

the best way to get rid of cheaters is to find a server who is admined and have a working rcon.

im glad my isp help me setted up rcon so now we can ban cheaters and since yesterday i didnt seen 1 on our server anymore.

and if he joins hes gone!
