1st post by nice ;)
In oblivion you come across many animals and creatures, that 97% of the time automaticall started run at you, with out even a thounght. You may have strolled past a few rare farms of sheep or a horse and maybe be a few dear but why not have lots of friendly creature roaming the wild, so it dosent fell like every thing is out to get you.
and for those animals that are out to get you maybe have them be curious, eg you come apon a wolf which is eating a dead person it notices you and stands its ground and growls at you, you can pass it by or charge in for the kill, or maybe a bear goes into defence and has a baby bear so it stands it ground and you can pass by and not drawn attention.

Also im sure this will be addressed that when a creature attacks it doesnt do the same attack every single time like in oblivion and dont make it so it is really easy to escape form an animal and if it did catch up like the wolf it took 2 second to attack giving me time to run away as it only attacked will staying still. I found that i was like 3x faster than any other animal in the game, mostly because i was a fast wood elf put still.
anyway just adding a few suggestions to skyrim.thx.

You can do that with a wolf, yes, but what about a mountain lion?I couldn't escape from a mountain lion with max speed, and they take off so much health and stun you each attack so it's almost impossbile to escape!

I posted something similar to this a while ago. Would be awesome to come across a pack of wolves devouring a carcass, but they don't attack you on sight only if you get too close.

Hmm. I think if you come across wolves that arnt hungry, maybe they should start growling at you if you come to close then if you don't back off they would attack. I think this would feel the most realistic.

ye i think it would be create if they made creatures actual do things, like when your in a cave bandits actual talk to eachother sit down and sleep in the beds or be sharping thier sword making potions etc. instead other walking and stoping and face an wall and then walking to the edge of a cliff and look straight a head.

I was once chased by a wolf, a bear and a mountain lion at the same time in Oblivion :lmao: If they make it like in New Vegas (only mutants attack you on sight whereas animals warn you if you get too close and attack unless you leave them alone) i'll be happy.

More passive animals would be nice too, and of course hunting them for food and pelts. In Oblivion deer meat was an ingredient for feather and healing potions, and with MMM you could craft leather armor from their hides.

Whilst playing oblivion the other day, i came across a dead Currier and horse. Whenever i come across dead NPCs or animals in Oblivion i always wonder what has killed them and why it didt stick around to eat its prey. I'd love it if the animals ingame really did finish off their prey leaving just a bloody mess and soem bones or w/e...

When I found dead NPC's that way I always thought: Oh damn, another ruined quest."

In FalloutNV Obsidian managed to create some natural (and funny) wildlife. I'm sure Bethesda will do the same in Skyrim. It adds so much to immersion.

I'm not sure how I feel about this. I think it's silly all predators are portrayed as bloodthirsty killing machines that will jump you on sight in the game, but there do need to be foes as you travel.

Even in the real world animals like mountain lions http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h2e1BD26-gQ, they are just naturally solitary creatures.

I suppose if wild animals ran away from you rather than charged you it wouldn't be very exciting in game though.

That would be even less realistic. It's uncommon to the point of almost being unheard of for most predators to kill and eat humans.

I wish creature in TES & Fallout3 were cognizant of one another, and did not mindlessly mob together to chase the PC.
(Like Mountain lions, bears and wolves ~or wolves and undead). In other games you can often get enemies to lose interest in you and fight each other.

Imagine if the AI ignored other monsters, but had a small chance for combat when the PC was near, and a greater chance if in combat already.

Sounds like you never encountered Radscorpions, Gecko's, Deathclaws or Cazadores. [censored] Cazadores.

But yes, I too would love to see the wildlife in Skyrim actually do something. Red Dead Redemption did this partially right, except for the Ninja Bears who hunt in packs.
