I just spend a fair amount of money on a new computer as my current one is starting to not always work properly. Also I realised that FO3 autodetects my game as 'low' quality.

Its getting old. 2010 Feb it was bought in. I generally replace my Pc every 5-6 years.
The graphics driver wasnt updating properly and some of my usb ports were acting up.
As for my pcs, I havnt bought a Brand pc in a long time. I use a computer store that has a 'design a system' tool. You can mix and match stuff. So I did that. Came out at about 1,800. I think people commonly refer to them as a Whitebox.
If it's any consolation, you're in better shape than I am. I built my computer back in 2007. It's run all the 360/PS3 generation of games well. But I don't think it'll handle Fallout 4 or any other games made for the next generation. I'm scrimping and saving every penny I can get my hands on so that I can upgrade my computer before the end of the year. If I have to resort to blackmail and extortion, so be it.
Luckily Im not married so I dont have another person leeching off my income
I did some updates of my drivers a while back and noted that some were getting pretty old.. generally its a sign that they arnt given new drivers anymore cause they are too old. Also I really wanted a lot more USB 3.0 ports. Ive got USB 3 devices running outta 2 ports and its generally a pain.
After Fallout 4 was announced I started to play 3 again but that didn't last long because I got 'been there done that' syndrome. I'm giving New Vegas a try now.
Im not what you would call an IT Nerd/ Geek. I know.. enough about computers and I generally ask the IT Tech guy we have at work for advice. He said make sure I get at least a solid state drive this time.
My biggest issue is it comes with Windows 8 . I know nothing about Windows 8 cept someone said FO3 actually works better on 8 than it does on 9. Apparently I can also upgrade for 'free' to Win 10.
still playing skyrim a few hours a week , also re installed some older non rpg games but most of my gaming time right now is going into a long time favorite MMO
I plan on playing some Fallout Tactics soon enough. Just in the mood.
But after that, I plan on playing Fallout 3 for the first time in a long time. It was always difficult for me to get back into that game after New Vegas, but Fallout 4 got me in the mood to play Fallout 3.
GTA Online (Mostly), Minecraft, Saints Row 4, Tomb Raider 2013, and Fallout 3 (hadn't done Mothership Zeta until last month, I so want Somah to be in Fallout 4, as she is one of my favorite FO3 characters).
In anticipation of Fallout 4, I am playing...
Hyrule Warriors.
Because I loathe hype and imo, it's the best game on the Wii U and I still haven't finished the abundance of content.
I'll probably be playing multiple games over the coming months, I doubt it'll be anything Bethesda though. I want to come at Fallout 4 fresh and distanced from previous titles.
None. Actually that's not entirely true, I've been playing this shark game on my mobile where you're a shark and you eat stuff. Beth seriously put way way too long between their games. I think I went above and beyond playing skyrim for 3 and a half solid years, but come on...
I haven't actually played anything at all since the trailer was released, even though I own over 250 games. I've been far too busy putting all of my theories together!
Haven't been playing anything Fallout related, but I've been working on my map and playing some Pillars of Eternity.
The waiting game, and I lose every time new information is released.
Multiple games. I picked up the NV DLC a year ago in a Steam sale but hadn't played them, so I ressurected my NV save and I've been working my way through (currently just about to finish OWB, then on to Lonesome Road).
I've also been replaying FO3 yet again, with a few mods that give it a FO4 flavour. DC moods for blue skies and some weather effects, RH Ironsights for better gunplay, Grenade and Sprint hotkeys, and my own tweaked power armor (too heavy to carry in inventory, increased strength buff to compensate when wearing it).
I've got a game of FO2 on the go, but it's not really grabbing me. Maybe once NV is done, I'll get more into it.
I'm also planning on giving Wasteland 2 another run once the Enhanced Edition released later this summer.
