Right now, I'm figuring I should play though the DLC in New Vegas I never played before this game comes out, because I think I'll probably never touch the other Fallout games again after release.

I voted for multiple games, because I was playing Fallout: New Vegas for 3 hours yesterday and I played Fallout: A Post Nuclear Role Playing Game and Fallout 2: A Post Nuclear Role Playing Game for 2 hours today.
Ive actually been replaying Wasteland 2 and Fallout. Fallout is frustrating the heck outta me because it has no autosave feature. I did the Glow, forgot about all my rads and traveled back to the hub, and then died in the Desert with no chance to de rad. and when did I save last? Before I had even visited the Glow. Sigh.
oh and dogmeat died to some radscorpions and I never recruited Tycho or Ian.
Making my way through the series. Just finished 2 and am going into tactics. After that I'll probably go through TES or maybe something else. Fallout 4 has me in a rpg kind of mood.
Ive never played Tactics. I probably should some day.
By playing almost any other game out of that genre .
I have tried everything to distract myself. I gave up on Dragon Age: Inquisition after I reached yet another world space and had to collect a whole new slew of things. I tried Fallout 3 with a whole bunch of downloaded texture, weapon and animation mods. I got to about Megaton before it failed. Didn't even try New Vegas because I knew that all the things that bother me about it would rise again. Toyed a little bit with Skyrim. Built about five new characters. Got my new Argonian up to Level 25. Bored now. I may try the Witcher 3 again, but I must confess that it was marketed differently that it actually is and that really made me resent the game. I am, however, quite pleasantly surprised by all the free DLC that has been released for it. I might try again with different expectations. I've tried a Call of Juarez game. Almost all of them did nothing to curb my appetite for the game I saw in that E3 presentation.
So the short answer is "nothing."
I'm mostly just playing through NV right now. Really enjoying it. I started a game on FO2 but I will really get in to it when I'm done with NV in a month or so... When they add backwards compatibility to the XB1 I will play FO3 but probably not all of it. Still haven't finished Witcher 3 or Arkham Knight...
I've been playing Star Wars: The Old Republic for a couple of months. SW:TOR has voiced protagonists which, to my amazement, I am gradually starting to like. This is forcing me to re-evaluate my dislike of voiced protagonists in Fallout 4.
Reminds me that i need to start a new game of Underrail
Fallout 3. Never had all the DLC before, so I grabbed a copy of GOTY edition during the Steam summer sale. Currently around lv25, having done Zeta & Anchorage, and gotten up to Tranquility Lane in the MQ. Been doing looooooots of exploring & sidequesting. Keep meaning to get going on Point Lookout, but get distracted by more empty map markers. (FOOK2 + DC Interiors mods, give a good bit more to find.... )
I've also been poking away at Grim Dawn, though, so that's also been distracting me from Point Lookout.
Tried going back to New Vegas but it gets so boring, I doubt I'll ever finish it. I'll probably revisit Bioshock, Fallout 3 and Skyrim.
Fallout 4 got me pretty psyched, so at one point I did start up Fallout 3, but I've been running into some pretty severe non-fatal errors (at one points I couldn't go five minutes without freezing so bad I had to reboot my computer.) I could maybe do some research and look into downloading some community patches, but for the moment it's tabled - I've already played it anyway, after all.
I did roll up a new character for New Vegas that I'm kind of playing at intervals, but the start of that game is just so slow I'm having trouble getting back into it. I do intend to hopefully finish at least New Vegas before November, if not both games.
Thinking back did make me nostalgic for the original games, but I just can't anymore. I've played Fallout 1 and 2 too many times by now for another playthrough to hold any interest for me at this point. A few years back I went through and did what I consider to be my "real" playthroughs for both games, what I consider my own personal "canon" for the characters and events in those games, so I've pretty much played those out (I did get both Fallout 1 and 2 pretty much on release day, so I've had plenty of time with them...)
It's looking to be a pretty spectacular holiday season this year for me, as XCom 2 and Blood Bowl 2 are also due to release around then (makes me feel like it's the late 90's all over again - time to break out my flannel shirts!) So I realized I'd never actually completed all of the Enemy Within content for XCom, so I've started playing back through that again. And after that if I have time it's back to my Steam backlog - probably Massive Chalice and potentially Assassin's Creed Unity.
Aww man, that svcks! Since it's an older game, maybe your PC or laptop can run it with little to no problems.
Lol, I feel your pain since I can barely run Skyrim without major stutter even on low res. I was thinking of upgrading, but my current laptop suits my needs and I'm leaning towards saving up for a 4K TV and a PS4 before November hits.
Well, I definitely plan on playing NV and F3 on the PC just as soon as I build it. I have all the parts here in a box but I don't know how to fit them lol. Waiting a few days because my dad's friend has kindly offered to put them all in!
GTX 980 Ti, i5 4690k, 8gb RAM, 750w PSU, 120gb SSD, 2TB HDD and 1440p monitor Going to upgrade the SSD next month and possibly get a new monitor.
Basically loaded a level 20 save from New Vegas, and have been playing through the DLC, as they were chronologically released. Just now put on my patient gown Once Moebius is dealt with, I'll be returning to Cyrodil for the duration up til 11/10/15...
i started NV then I heard about Fallout 4, rounded it as in visited all locations
Nice as first time I played NV I had just played fallout 3 and was honestly a bit bored with fallout.
is now doing Skyrim again.
Fallout 3.... though the attempt quickly failed. I swear, this game is still one of the most unstable games I own. New Vegas might've been worse at release, but it's way better now. I'm just playing that instead because it just works.
