Anu aligned Daedra

Post » Wed Aug 18, 2010 8:35 pm

I was thinking about how the ES universe is split in half, Anu and Padomay(Padhome.) But then i realized, Mortals are made from the Et'Ada, and therefore are Anu aligned. The Coc, a mortal, is now a daedric prince. So there is an Anu aligned Daedra. Therefore, is Seogorath a Aedra who is in Oblivion, not Mundas?

Not all of the Aedra were Anuic. At the very least there was Shezarr, though it is my belief that there were more. Either way there was at least one.

It doesn't even matter though. Mundus was made as a way to return to the state of gray, whcih it did. All Mundane beings have the choice on how to behave and aren't bound to they way their component arts acted.

Also, Sheogorath is always Padomayic, regardless of who is playing the role.

Also, Jyg was an Anic Daedra.

So there's a number of reasons why I can't agree with you.

What? Where did you read that the creation of the Mundus was a means to return to the Gray Maybe? The sources I've read say that Lorkhan wanted to create a mortal world because he was bored with the stasis of an empty Aurbis... if I remember correctly.

I think you just answered your own question. The et?ada aren?t really free because their actions are predefined by the alignment they represent, wether it?s anu or padomay.

A mortal?s life and behavior are not bound by those halves, even if the interaction of Anu/Padomay have a fundamental influence on this universe. Mortals are free.

That was the point of creating Mundus, get rid of predefined patterns.

It wasn't empty. First it was grey and et'Ada and stuff were being made and unmade pretty much at random. Then Auri-El / Akatosh / Tall Papa came up with a conept that allowed them to be immortal. As a result of this inmortality the et'Ada split up in Atherius with et'Ada that did one thing, and Oblivion with et'Ada that did another. This is the part were Lorkhan started to get bored and wanted to get back to the grey were original stuff was still happening.

edit:

Talyn, pretty much got the gist of it.

And because of this, the elves curse Shor, while the men praise him.

All praise Shor!
