She is a more sensable partner, imo the best partner, for the player, she actually has a relationship with your character, where as all the current marriage contestants consist of "Here's a necklace, we're married, please carry my dragon bones." Serena is a truley needed marriable partner, she actually makes you feel attatched and I assume more people would like this option!
Serana is one of the only, if not the only, followers and marriage options that has great character and depth. She has one of the most interesting back stories and even appears to be attracted to the Dragonborn, and what makes this attraction better is that it is developed over time like a real relationship. It isn't "I payed you 500 gold, now marry me!" or " I completed a teeny tiny side quest for you that took literally 2 minutes, now marry me!" Those marriages are boring and there is no real relationship developing, but with Serana it takes an ENTIRE questline for her to really trust you and not one little side quest.
Im not talking modding her to be married, im talking legit support from Bethesda!
