Any city you don′t want to vist?

Post » Fri Jul 09, 2010 8:03 am

I don't like any of the ones that are gloomy and seem dirty.
(Bravil and Leyawiin)
I also hate Kvatch. I've been playing for a long, long time and I would imagine that in actual life, guards would be re-building it. :P

My game always seems to lag in Skingrad more than any other town so I usually avoid going there, otherwise I don't dislike any town in the game.

Bravil and Leyawiin - how bloody original. :)
I also don't like the Imperial City - not just the Waterfront, all of it. For the capital of the empire it is incredibly unimpressive and dull. Good place for trading, though.

Leyawiin. Hands down. I just hate the location, the environment, the people, and the fact that it's always freakin' raining. Literally, I avoid it as much as I can on all of my characters, only going there if I absolutely need to. Well, to be honest, I hate the entire region around the place. So many dang mudcrabs...

Now, my favorite city is Anvil. The scenery is a big factor there, along with the fact that I love port cities.

Ok after a quick survey I′ve found that Bravil and Leyawiin are the cities people like the least.
I like those two, but even though I have a house in Bravil I spend more time in Leyawiin :)

I love Leyawiin. I love the big houses and the gloom (that part is my English/Scottish heritage kicking in...). Big valleys, moss, rain, fog, and big, dark houses. Awesome. Two things anger me about it: interiors not matching exteriors and how I can't buy one of those big houses. Here's hoping GothGirl releases that mod.

Anyway, I don't like Bruma. I only go there when I have to. It has all the atmosphere of a ski lodge. Maybe that's me rebelling against living in a place where everybody wishes they lived in a ski lodge.

I don't like Chorrol much either. When I first saw screens and vids of the game I was worried they had built the whole game with cities of that boring architecture. It's not bad, but it's boring.

I don't really have a least favorite. It depends on the type of character I have played, giving personality and different tastes for a particular race/class combination.

I actually like Leyawiin and Bravil because I like the role-play Peasants who rise to fame.

I really dislike the Imperial City...it's just...ugly. It's all concrete and I don't find that very appealing. I like Chorrol the best because it reminds me of the village my Grandmother lives in, in England.

You mean that since it′s the capitol city in the whole of the empire it should be bigger and have more people

My char is from Bravil and loves it; however, she really quite likes all the cities. The only one she has any trouble with is Bruma. I mean she likes the city and the people just fine, it is just the bitter cold she dislikes, brrrr. :P

It is not the cold she minds, it is having to wear that ugly fur armor that she hates!

Leyawiin. I don't even think it shold be a part of Cyrodil. How did Elswyr ever lose such a thin strip of land...

And there should be alot more Khajiit there.
