I don't much like Lleyawwin either - it's the only town I never really learnt my way around, can never find the damn blacksmith...

The only reason Anvil will get some points deducted from being the best town is because its at the asscrack of Cyrodiil, although Leyawiin is farther down. Anvil is my favorite favorite town though, and for roleplay purposes, I have a mod added house at the dock since the manor is too luxurious for my character.

My least visited towns are Bruma and Bravil. I haven't even been to Leyawiin on this character yet because its so far away.

Bravil, it's dirty and ugly. I like Cheydinhal because Walks-in-Shadows' boyfriend lives on the lowest level of the Sanctuary there, and I like Leyawiin because for only 1000 Septims, I get the pleasure of killing the racist Countess.

My least favourite is Bruma, it's so cold and unwelcoming.

I much preffer Chorrol or Anvil, the vibrant colours bring out the best in me.

The Imperial City is very very dull, the Arena, Market and the Waterfront are the only places that are different.

Like everyone else, I'm going to vote Leyawin (sp?) and Bravil.

Leyawin - Racist countess, home of Blackwood Company, quite drab.
Bravil - Skooma den, annoying count and son (I killed the count btw), all brown and green, smells bad.

I like pretty much everywhere else :thumbsup:

I like the Dark Brotherhood sanctuary but, apart from that, I find Cheydinhal somewhat boring.

I also rarely go to Leyawiin, but that's more due to its location than any particular dislike for it (I hardly ever fast travel).

I forget what it's called, partially becasue I'm bad with names and partially because I have my own name for the place, but the architecture runs to blocky tall buildings made of brown unpainted wood. Anyway, that's my least favorite town. Ugly!

I hate Cheydinhal, the layout peaves me. The long grass by the river looks like crap. The guard captain, Ulriech Lleylend (something like that) gives the town guard a bad name...not a happy place in my book.

And, I dont like Lleywiin, I'm racist towards Lizard men and cat things sooo.....

I don't really dislike any of the cities in Cyrodiil, however I only rarely visit Leyawiin, and the niben river area is my least explored region. However Sevrin has a certain findness for Khajiit, so it's mostly the distance and the quests he's been pursuing rather than anyhting about the city itself.

However saying that I have pet peeves with pretty much every city, especially the IC which is just too small and under populated, and lacks a functioning chapel/altar.

I also find it strange that the altar in Temple of the One does not work and that there are not many people around. It IS the capital city of the empire :shrug:

Yep. This. Though in my current playthrough Bravil feels okay. So that leaves Leyawiin.... lots of Argonians and Khajiit there, which is cool, but I hate how everything is so damn mossy. Also I don't dislike Skingrad exactly but the city itself doesn't seem to have a lot going on. Of course I still frequent it to sell my loot (Skingrad country is very adventurer-friendly.. :gun: ) but not much else.

I was just wondering, there have been a few threads about favourite cities but what I wanna know, is there one that you really dislike?
Personally I like them all but for some reason I′m not comfortable in Cheydinhal and that surprises me. It′s a nice city but I can′t seem to find peace there. Maybe it′s because of the Dark....oh no :bolt:

Kvatch... It makes me sad every time I see it that it doesnt rebuild (I know there are mods)...
But I love Bruma and Cloud Ruler Temple... Those places are favos...

The bottom part is true for me, but I can't stand Anvil. It's so dirty, creepy, and has a polluted feeling.

I wouldn't like to visit leyawin or anvil, just hate both of their architecture
