I understand it's a long way until release, so i'm not fussed about specifics. I plan to purchase a new PC, around the time Skyrim will be released. I'll probably get one custom-built, so all the technicalities are really down to me. To help me get a bearing for how much i need to save, i was wondering if anyone could provide some info on what kind of requirements we should expect, based on the new trailer?

If that is still too vague, then perhaps information more specific?

- ATI or Nvidia for graphics? It was my understanding that Oblivion (and perhaps other titles) was FAR more stable on ATI
- Quad Core, higher freq Dual Core, or even higher freq Single Core? Intel or Athalon? i series or Phenom?
- Ideas around graphics cards?
- very good monitor ?
